Hey everyone. Okay these are two questions that have been running through my mind for like ever. I just hope it's not too...personal I guess. Because my first question is for you female subs/bottoms. I'm just curious, if it's during *that time of month* what..or how... does a spanking happen?
My next question has kind of been answered but not fully. For those of you that have children how do you work with the DD or even a D/s relationship? I've guessing a lot of times you've just gotta send the kids out, or just turn up the tv.

Speaking only for me, we don't spank during *that time of the month* BUT.....he will wait until its over, and remind of of my little "indiscretions" 
Geez....and for the second question - our kids are grown and moved to another state! Guess that makes it super easy for us! But, when my son was still living at home, we managed - mostly waiting until he went out!  Or, went to another part of the house!!

Hi Blu ~ very interesting questions and I wish I could contribute but that "time" was taken out of my hands when I was 28 and my Son is fully grown and lives 650 miles away. I think Pinkcheeks has the right idea, no OTK during that time but catch up time after Mother Nature takes her leave.  |

the paddles take a vacation at that time of the month. we have no kids so far, that may be a problem in the future but not now.

Yeah, I use a sponge and so it is all inside, but not JC Penney! Also, I usually earn myself one everyday leading up to it, so I am usually pretty good for the days when I am really heavy. Then I get moody again when we are in the home stretch, but by that point it is just spotting, so no big deal.
As far as kids go (and we have three pretty small ones), we just wait till they are in bed, or lock the door on the office or our bedroom when they are downstairs watching tv. That works for punishment and light playing. We wait till they are gone for serious playing. Luckily, we have two sets of grandparents and their aunt lives close by, so we get lots of overnights!

I agree with Pagan, tampons, and no bare bottoms during that time of the month.. as for our daughter, she is still really young and sleeps really heavily, so we usually just wait until she's in bed. We also get alot of weeneds to ourself, so sometimes we'll wait until then.

I take birth control pills for an unrelated problem, so I finagle them so I dont have my period when Im over visiting Steve. If it happened anyway I believe Steve would spank me lightly, since bruising is easier when you have your period.
On the other hand, I've always believed that a spanking during that "time" would help with my moodiness and the blues I get. I'm sure I'll find out someday...

I use a menstral cup called the Diva Cup. I can't reccomend it enough! It's honestly changed my life. I shoot videos every week even on my period as well as occasional spankings at home during that time, and I never have any problems with leaking etc. I *am* a little more sensitive during that time but I figure the members probably enjoy the extra reactions. In general you just need to be self aware of your limits and how they may change during that period.
As for kids, my Dominant has twins, and another infant on the way. We handle it by waiting until they are asleep and then playing in a different areas of the house. Alternately the boys get sent out with someone (with myself, or his other submissive) to do something fun (mcdonalds, the park, whatever) and then He will take advantage of the empty house. Usually we don't resort to actually sending them away unless someone is in trouble for something serious that he wants to take care of. In general, we wait until they are gone for whatever activities they are a part of, or until they go to bed.

No spankings during monthly.
We have two teenagers, three of his family members around constantly helping taking care of thier mother. So we usually have to wait til we get his mom settled in her room, and everyone else gone before we can have play time.
