Lets say a law was pasted that all spankos had to tell one person that they are spanko. It doesn't matter if you are on the receiving end or the given end who would you tell and why.
For those of you who have been on this forum for a while know I always answer my own questions.
I would tell my brothers wife so that she realizes that what happens between two adults is completely natural but she would have to tell me her secert live which I already know but just want her to say it and no she's not into spanking but thinks if anyone knows her secert they would think they (meaning my brother and her) are Kinky.
OK who would you tell and why.

I would tell my best friend Linda because she is one who would never judge me or think that I was out of my mind. She just loves expressions of love and I just know she would come to realize that my involvement in the OTK world was based on love, not violence.  |

i have a best gf and she knows, we grew up together and i " came out " when i was 20 and to her it is no big deal, differet, sure but she understands. we don't talk about it but some times i will say i am a little sore and laugh but no details and i don't want to know any details about her priviate life either.

I would probably tell my co-worker, she is really close to my age, and I kinda have a hunch that she is into it too, but I don't know for sure, and don't wanna come out and ask.. anyway, she and I have become pretty close, so I think I'd tell her. I almost slipped the other day and said something, but I caught myself before I did... and I think she knows somethings up.. but I dunno..

I gotta agree with Fanny - I can't think of a non-spanko I would tell - maybe a close girlfriend who I THINK is into DD, but that is just a hunch on my part ~~~ kinda like to keep this lifestyle between me and Hubby ---oh, and ALLLLLL of you here

I think I'm with a lot of others, that I'd tell my best friend. We've been best friends since we were five and she and I would have so much fun with it. ;-) other than her..((i'd hope my future husband would already been interested in it, I remember how hard it was to mention it to my ex boyfriend)).. I couldn't think of anyone else. |

I used to participate in an online chat group on AOL that was started by one of the local radio stations out here (one of the DJs announced it on the air each week and hosted it). After awhile, since we were all local, we started getting together in R/L every so often (including the DJ).
One night, I was in the chatroom with a couple of the women (one single and one married). I was getting ready to head out of town on a trip to visit a playmate, and somehow (don't even remember the details), I ended up telling them that I was going to spank her, which they both found delightful and resulted in the single one calling me "Spanky" from then on (though the rest of the group never heard the details).
I did end up showing the single one a new leather paddle I got around that time and offering to <ahem> demonstrate it for her, but she wasn't interested. The married one ended up asking me about spanking sometime later and we had a few discussions about it. She'd never tried it, and due to her marriage wasn't interested in doing so, though she did say that if she was single, she'd gladly give it a try.
There's one female firefighter on the department with me who's a good friend that I'm currently "feeling out". She's smacked my butt a few times in the past, and I've returned the favor. I have my suspicions about her, and I'd probably be comfortable telling her under the right circumstances. As it is, I've started dropping a few hints.

My best friend more or less knows I think but it was such a long time ago that I can't even remember how the subject came up but it was all treated as a bit of a joke. I do remember that she was out one night and was talking to a fella who expressed interest in it (I wasn't there) and she gave him MY phone number. I was NOT happy (he never rang). A little afterwards she told me that a boyfriend of hers had smacked her bottom when they were making love and that she quite liked it but I've never asked if she kept it up with her current boyfriend. |

Probably because a few smacks while making love can be put down to being in 'the throes of passion' whereas a whole spanking separate from the act turns it into something completely different for a lot of people. It makes it a deliberate happening and they can't excuse it as 'oops, I got carried away' or 'I was just encouraging you to move a bit more'. |

Yes, I think you'd better hide them. The idea of smacks while making love, I always view in the way of (sometimes not so) gentle encouragement, not as a jockey trying to spur on Red Rum in the Grand National. |
