wow, today was a really really trying day for me. Everthing I touched, did and tried to do went wrong. I could feel myself getting crankier and as the day went on and it got me thinking....Did you ever wish someone would just turn you over his/her lap; spank you soundly and send you to bed? I certainly found myself wishing that today.

Did you notice? I am not only An Angel With An Attitude but I am also very curious about what other people in our world think.

I agree with you, Sassy. Of course, I only have problems like that on days of the week that end with the letter "y"

Only on a regular basis, Sassy.
Anyone who knows me, knows my sleep issues. It is amazing how well I can fall asleep after being "sent" to bed.

I am happy to hear that it happens to you ONLY on a regular basis Fanny

I agree, it is a wonderful sleep afterwards; I have sleep issues too and sometimes I wonder why I don't just give up sleep altogether. (pout)

Have a GREAT day and maybe a nap (grin)

I had an awful night, and today Im in pain and very groggy. I would love a nice spanking, then to be tucked into bed for a nap.

A spanking before bed always helps me sleep. Or if Steve is holding me tight and says "Now young lady, go to sleep!" I fall asleep almost immediately.

I never have problems sleeping - once I get in bed! I just don't like going to bed when I'm alone in the house. Sort of a problem when you live by yourself...

I am just the opposite Reader_Girl...I don't get enough sleep! Wish I could (I sleep a few hours then bam..I am awake - then it takes me awhile to fall back to sleep)...I hate the thought of taking a sleep aide...wonder if anyone knows of a natural remedy?

Reader Girl I am the same way. When Mr. B traveled a lot I'd stay up very late on the computer simply because I did not want to go to bed when alone in the house.

It became such an issue, I ended up with a 10 P.M. curfew to be off the computer and in bed. Mr. B is home most of the time any more so I am getting a lot more sleep. But a lot less time for the computer.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Sleep to me is something I have to do and with lupus if I don't get sleep I have very stiff joints and ache all over Bill has been know to say "To bed young lady" ok I go but hten he follows me and holds me until I fall alseep. I agree the best slee is always after a GG maybe becase all the stress is gone and we all can relax better

I slept fine until I got fibro, now getting enough sleep is a daily grind. I take a med for restless leg syndrome and a pain med that helps me sleep. Pinky Ive tried lots of natural products, with little success...nothing works like a spanking for releasing those endorphins and allowing the body to relax.

Excedrin sleeplessness with pain is a mild sedative which works well for me. :-)

Yikes, Wolfie! You have RLS and your fibro? Maybe you can get your doctor to write a prescription for one GG spanking a day....

Wolfie,

You are going to think I am totally nuts but I SWEAR it worked for me. There is a weird and bizarre "cure" for restless leg syndrome. Look it up on the web if you don't believe me, I know I did when I heard it first. Put a bar of ordinary soap in bed with you, around knee level. I have been bothered by RLS for years and I hate taking any kind of pills so I just suffered. My mom ran across a man that swore it worked for him so she told me try it. It can't hurt and it's not expensive so...I tried it. I have been symptom less for over two months. I did have one episode that woke me but I had kicked the soap out of bed and once I put it back in it went away. Now I tuck a bar in between the fitted sheet and the mattress. I was also told to put in a new bar when ever the symptoms come back. IF they do. They haven't yet.
Try it, I was really glad I did!!!!!!!!!!!

Poofette, that is totally bizarre...but I'll try it. How long were you diagnosed before you tried the soap, and how quickly did the symptoms end? If it works you have saved me tons of money on Requip.

Reader girl, if I had the guts to tell my doctor about the whole endorphin thing, who would he write the prescription to? Steve is 3000 miles away at the moment.

Pinky, I say go for it. Tell him it's doctors orders.

Thanks for the hugs everyone. I cope pretty well most of the time.

Just maybe you can find a doctor who gives medicinal spankings. I'll bet there is more than one out there, and he could make a fortune on house calls!!

My problem is even if I go to bed early I just can't all asleep and I di need my sleep. Last night Bill told me in no way would I be out of bed after 9:30 I usually go up arounfd 10. os as instructed up to bed I went and at 9:45 I came down and told him I need him to hold me until I fall asleep. Guess what he fell asleep before me. So today I am a cranky red head witha temper to match and that is why I am taking a bath and heaing intot he bedroom to read and hopefully I would get buttitist- inflamation of the butt do to spanking

Always a big mistake, Red, they ALWAYS fall right asleep. I fell into that trap more than once, and cranky is not exactly the word to discribe my mood.

Wolfie,

Yes, I was diagnosed about ten years ago. Not much on the market to help with it then and I learned to live with it. I tried a few presciptions but am terrible about remembering to take them and since most needed at least two weeks straight to work....well they never did. The soap helped the very first night and by the end of the week I didn't twitch at all. No creepy crawly's either!!! I was amazed and completely dumbfounded. I don't know how it works, it isn't logical! I don't care if it's all in my mind as long as it keeps working, I'll keep sleeping with Irish Spring between my sheets. Best sleep I've had in years.
