OK, so I'm going to tell my husband that I had more than 3 drinks with my friends and then drove home. I have my annual checkup with my doctor next week. Have any of you had any marks when you had your checkups? What do I say if she asks where I got them? They have a zero tolerance around here for spouse abuse and I really don't want to get my husband in any trouble. For a drinking and driving offense, I'm pretty sure there will be marks! |

Well first I am proud of you for being honest with your husband. Second wait until after the appointment. I have had to get x-rays and things because of my fall and fractured hip due to the fall and I had marks from a spanking when that happened and its a sticky situation to try and explain. You best bet is to explain to hubby and wait. |

Perhaps hubby can wait until after your doctor's appoint to administer the punishment. I had a birthday spanking on Feb 11 and I still can see a few marks on one cheek!

Today is Wednesday unless your appiontment is Monday I would think that most marks will be gone. However that being said I have been at the doctors with marks in fact it just happened recently, an unexcepted GYN appiontment. My rear was red not actual hand prints so it might be different. WHen she asked I just otld her that we were into erotic spanking and she let it go. asking only if I consent to it and of course i said yes.
My old primary care doctor always use to tell Bill that i needed a good spanking so I would guess that he wouldn't have even batted an eyelash if I csame in wiht a red butt.

So, I see you've decided to fess up. I'd wait till after the Dr. appt. for your spanking. If you think he might not want to wait, then maybe you should wait and tell him after. |

I think I would wait till after the appointment...to be on the safe side.
Set a time with your guy to settle this once and for all.

The only problem with waiting to tell him is that then you run the risk of the punishment being more severe because you've hidden it from him. You already have for several days, but the longer you hide it, still, the worse it will ultimately be. I suppose the best idea might be to bring it up tonight, or as soon as possible, and discuss with him the punishment.
If you don't think your doctor would be understanding or don't want to go into detail on that, then I'm sure something could be worked out, perhaps the punishment could be divided into parts, a lighter punishment given now and the rest of the punishment after your appointment (adds some horrifically fun dread and anticipation, doesn't it? >.>). For the sake of your bottom, it might be better not all at once anyhow considering the severity of the crime.
He should be rational about this though..
Red--isn't that enough to almost make you want to go to the one doctor with a freshly spanked bottom. ^_^; Ah, it'd be such a beautiful moment just to see the doctor's reaction. ^^; |

I've given it alot of thought all day. My husband is at a basketball game watching our nephew, but when he gets home we're going to talk. I will see how my bottom looks when it's over and if I have to, I will change my appointment until next month. I couldn't stand the anticipation of waiting until after the appointment, and like Mavieenrose said it may be more severe because I waited so long to tell him.
I don't think my doctor would believe I was into erotic spanking. I appear too prim and proper, or so I hear.

Just a tiny bit nosey here were you afraid to tell your S/O the truth. I ask for a reason. Are you afraid of him or the spanking. In all my 25 years of being spanked I was never afraid of Bill, afraid or feared the spanking yes but Bill no. No one should ever be spanked out of angier. Again just my 2 cents.

Yes, I am afraid to tell him. Terrified! I don't want his disappointment in me, and his loss of trust. I also, am terrified of the spanking. I can take alot of pain, but he knows my limits too well and when I'm in trouble it's more than I can almost handle. I guess I'm not afraid of him, but the spanking, yes. |

Jas- punishment spankings SUCK, but serve a good purpose- they let YOU get rid of the guilt, and your Dom get rid of any bad feelings- I'm willing to bet you that you will end up closer than ever after he punishes you.I've been punished once, for good reason- in a vanilla relationship, what I did might have broken us up- instead, it brought us closer- Don't wait- cancell your Docs appt- some things are more important-you don't need the stress- Punishments should be done as soon as possible- if there isn't a medical reason why you NEED to see the doc, put it off- grit your teeth, get through your punishment, and remember, the reason he is giving it to you is because he LOVES you, and you did a stupid, careless thing. Let go of the guilt, accept his punishment with as much grace as you can, then let him hold you, stroke you, sooth you, make it all better- you both will feel 100% better for it- Hang in there baby- I know it's scarey- but you love him, so trust in him- trust him to do the right thing, for him, you, and your relationship-hugs to you- and remember, he does what he does BECAUSE he loves you- |

I agree with Red, espceially should something be said - as long as an adult says it's concensual, no further action can be taken so there is nothing to worry about, unless you are embarasses - in that case, I'd wait, as I do, LOL.

I waited. Yes, I guess I would be embarrassed. It's bad enough having those checkups without having to explain your concensual spankings... Let's just hope I can stay out of trouble before the rescheduled date. |
