Does anyone else out there have this problem? When we are in our daily lives, E is always asking me questions. For example, what do you want for dinner, where do you want to go for lunch, what do you want to do today, etc. I really don't care and tell him so. He gets really angry if I don't give him an opinion. I've even been spanked for it. He says he makes the rules and important decisions and I should be able to decide some of these day to day questions. He seems to always have an opinion about these questions ahead of time, so I try to decide what he wants. Sometimes, of course, I guess wrong and then he's not happy about my choice either. This is really getting on my nerves. Suggestions? |

My guy does that. What I do is ask him what he fancies and then I pick from that.
Take my heart and soul. But please don't step on it, it breaks easily.

Well if he's leaving you with the responsibility of making a decision for him as well, he really has no room to complain. The problem we have is that I'm generally very indecisive so sometimes things take longer than they need to, I'm not ashamed to admit it LOL. Like what we're doing for dinner for instance, if we are going out he always asks me to pick a place because I'm such a fussy eater (I eat like a 3 year old btw LOL), and generally if we go out I'm going to have a burger, so to me it really doesn't matter, he knows where I like to eat and what I like, so I'll ask him what he's in the mood for, and he'll say "I'm not the picky one, I'll find something on the menu" lol. Now that we're actually grocery shopping and not eating out practically every day, I don't think it'll happen as much.  |

I like the idea that was suggested. Have him give you a choice of say 3 items then you choose which one you want of those three. It narrows it down for you to be able to make a choice and one must assume that if he gives you 3 choices then those choices will all be ok with him no matter which one you choose.
I like that approach. Mr. B does that to me occasionally and I say quite often "I don't care whatever you want." If he gave me choices then it would be easier to make up my mind too.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Jasmine - that would really upset me as well. If I were you, I would speak up and let him know how you are feeling. I have donethe same with Jske and he listened and things are much better. Good luck and I'll be thinking of you.
