During a conversation with one of my very good friends the subject of submission came up. She thought that it was funny that while at work I am in total control take no prisoner type person. I have been known to tell a CEO of a big hospital center that he was full of shit -ok maybe not so plainly but we both knew what I meant. But when I'm home it's totally different. Once home it's like I turn off my brain I really don't want to think to hard. I told William once my brain needs to rest. I am not a stepford wife who says yes dear all the time WIlliam wouldn't want thatnor would I but I do defer to him on lots of issues. The real resaon is it's not that important to me. Matters of money we go to our $ advisor, legal we have lawyers and medical issue of course are left to me because I know at least 90% of the doctors in the surrounding towns. I told my friend somethings are just not worth discussing and some things I just don't care. After she left I really started thinking and realized that there are many hard working smart women some of them high paid exectives who once home become thier S/O's submissive pet (pet meant in a good way). I was wondering why?If you look at soem of the profiles of the females on this list you see a wide range of professionl everything from business owners to nurses teachers sales people and yes even moms etc. Females that all day long you make decsions and lead a life make choice to get things done who would most likely kill if you even hinted that she was the slightest submissve I expalined my reason what do you think and if you are one of these submissive female is it a fight everyday why and why not and how do you do it?

Wow, finally found someone asking what I want to know. I am CFO of a large construction company, and in charge at work. At home I don't want to make any decisions, and I want my husband to make me keep my emotions and moods upbeat. I try not to bring work home, and that's often hard, but if a spanking is coming you definitely think twice. I find it really hard to be submissive after a tough day at the office, but just keep trying...for almost 10 years now. I slip up often which is why my butt rarely totally heals before another comes.

I too have a responsible job and I know my vanilla friends would never envisage that I could be the slightest bit submisive to anyone. It doesn't come naturally to me to submit but I think that is why I enjoy being made to. I love it when just a look can make my knees feel weak because I know I've overstepped the mark and my bottom will pay. Or he says "I don't like that tone of voice..." and I melt.
Thank you Sir from the heart of my bottom.

I personally train men in a gym who are bodybuilders, and I push them to the extreme to achieve their goals......at home I enjoy my submissive side, and reap the benefits of a DD relationship with my husband. Jasmine is right - we don't want to make anymore decisions and we want our emotions and moods kept in check so there is harmony and balance.

But isn't it odd that we work in high presure jobs. Dam I own a healthcareconsulting comapny and before that I work at one of the BIG accountanting firms and worked my way up to principle I handle millions of dallors each and everyday. Clients not only listen to what I say but actually do it and some of them call me frist beore they even think to do it. Thye look to me to make sure that thier money is always coming in. Yet when I get home I don't even want to make decisons regarding what to eat .
I don't think my friend woukd be shocked that I am in a D/s relationship just that I the s side of it not the D side.

I tell William all the time that by the time I get home I just about all my brain can do the only thing left in my brain is the ability to drive home and get me thru the door and undressed into something comfortable. I don't understand it but maybe one day they who ever they are will come up with a gene that makes us what we are.

Everyone thinks I am the D side of our relationship also. People always make comments, in jest, of me straightening him out or keeping him in line. HA! If they only knew...
