Finally struck my head up after a snowy Sunday. In my part of New York we got 23 inches. It was a great day to just stay in bed and do what comes naturally.
Late last night I was talking to an on line friend who I have knew for about 3 years Somehow the changes in relationships came up. As many of you may remember William and I had a 3 S week end(Sex, Spanking and Submission) and since then I noticed changes to our relationship not that the causal observer would see but enough that we noticed. She was dumb struck that I would move more into a D/s relationship as oppose to staying in a DD relationship. I say I don't care what you call it I know one thing I'm happy. he's happy , we're happy (I guess thats 3 things). And I don't care what the name is of the type of relationship I have is called. After 25 years with william it really doesn't matter.
OK so my question is have you noticed a change in you relationship? If you do, did you help push it there or did you just rode the tide?

Red- "R" and i went from experimenting with D/s to DD - the opposite of you and William. We definately saw changes in our relationship (we have been together over 25 years), but the changes were for the better. You're right - if the two of you are happy, then that is what is most important. I think "R" and i just kinda rode the tide for a bit, seeing which lifestyle suited us best.
My favorite color? pink of course

I got at least 24" of pure white powder yesterday, it's just beautiful! The only thing I could see while it was coming down was the bright red cardinals at my bird feeder.
I think we've done both...ride the tide and push forward ourselves. We've communicated the whole time, talking things over for days and constantly checking to be sure we both were happy with the way the relationship is going. Since Steve and I dont live together, doing d&d is difficult...but we do the best we can. D/s is easier as that's part of our personalities and we just naturally fall into our roles all the time. I love being sub to his Dom, it completes me as nothing else ever has. 
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.

D/s = Dominant/submissive
Mr. B and I have sort of just rode the tide. I think we are actually more along the lines of D/s as actual discipline is very rarely needed or used, but does come into play if needed. In our day to day life though Mr. B is the Dominant partner and I am definitely the submissive partner. That was our life basically even before we started into this lifestyle and spanking and recognized it for what it is. However, before where the lines were always sort of vague and fuzzy now the lines are clear cut and concrete. It makes for an easier relationship and partnership.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.
