I just seem to be in this rut lately were I am constantly in trouble.
I was spanked 7 times in one day last week and have had more since. Any one else seem to have this problem? |

7 times in one day. Wow I have never gotten more than 3 in one day but I I have been in a period of bad girl spankings for the last 2 0r 3 weeks I think it has to do with the holidays and all the stress that comes with it. Hang in there and I am sending you a big soft pillow to sit on. |

BabyJ, I'm not sure if you're talking about fun spankings, or discipline ones.
If they're real ones, whether mild or not...it would seem to me that they're NOT working.
Maybe the two of you need to talk about what's really going on. Because if they are disciplinary, and he's spanking you that often, and it's not changing things...maybe you don't want them to?
I mean no offense by this. I wouldn't want to be 'really' spanked, and I suspect it would make me dig my heels in and focus more on my anger over the spanking than the issue at hand.
My concern for you would be that he either gives up, because it's clearly not working...or he starts using far more force. |

However, if the spankings are more for fun. It's still a big OUCH - 7 in one day, unless they are short one and not too hard. In that case -- have more fun.
I love the fun spankings and pushing Mr. B's buttons. Trying to find out how much, when and where I can get away with.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

7!! Wow Babyj! I wouldn't be able to take that! I've had 4 in one day, but I couldn't sit for a few days after that!! I agree with Fanny and Pagan. Something is not right, unless you wanted all those spankings! |

They were punishment and not all were given to me by Greg. They did work, I just keep screwing up in different ways. Though to be honest they could have been harder and I let them know that next time it will be Greg said. |

I think you need to look at WHY you keep 'screwing up'. There are only so many ways to do that.
There may be different symptoms, but there are common threads. Irresponsibility...lack of respect towards others...disobedience...etc.
I might be in the minority here, but I just don't understand why a punishment spanking would 'work' on an adult UNLESS they really want it to, and have a sincere desire to change their behaviour.
Squire could spank me until the cows came home in an attempt to change a behaviour. It WOULD piss me off...but I doubt it would result in a change, unless he managed to make me FEAR him in the process. Not the dynamic I want with my husband.
Now...if he sat me down, explained to me how my behaviour was affecting him and others...I might change it. I do not deliberately act in ways that are hurtful to others, but like all of us, I have blind spots.
Once they're pointed out, they aren't blind spots anymore. Now, either I think he's wrong or being unreasonable, or I agree with him that I was out of line. If I agree with him, I'll try to change it or not repeat it. If we were in a different kind of relationship, I suppose he could reinforce the point with a spanking. But that wouldn't change the need for communication, and for me RECOGNIZING that my behaviour was inappropriate, and taking personal responsibility for changing it.
Just my two (perhaps unpopular) cents. |

I agree with Pagan. Unless someone wants to change or has been given reasons to change no amount of spanking will help. However I am still confussed 7 spankings and not all of them from your husband than who else is in the picture. |

two male friends and 1 femail fried, and all disapline. as far as working or not yes they are. One of my bigest problems is my mouth. Frankly attitude and curseing. My language has improved emensly and my attitude in lessoning. as far as fearing my husband, I would never do that, he is a pushover. He spanks me only when I ask for it, and it is more of inforceing the point like you said Pagan. |

no it's not that Red. I think the problem is me.
I have been stressed out and needy lately, and I guess I was feeling a bit neglected and needed any attention I could get. And the positive attention wasn't being given so I did things that I knew would get me the attention I desired. Now I am good no more "attention" for me. |
