Good morning,
Sitting here with my coffee lookiing over the mail and was wondering how others keep their life style private from their kids..I am spanked once every Friday night for punishment which isn't too bad to arrange because the girls go over to my sister's, normally for the night..My sis knows about our d/d relationship and has agreed to take the girls friday nights..That works out great but it's difficult during the week when the girls,age 5,are home which allows little or no opportunity for "fun" spankings which I truely love and cherish..Punishment spankings are just that punishment,but erotic spankings are really where it is for me..Anyways I was wondering what other parents do to keep their "spanking life" private from the kids..

Our private life is exactly that, completely private, no-one knows. Fortunately, my husband and I both work two days a week from home and the kids are at school. Otherwise, we can use the back seat of my Suburban. Since your girls are still young, you may be able to get away with things when you know they are sound asleep but you need to keep things a bit more quiet. We have 6 kids and we have learned to be very creative because we have very little alone time.

I think at this point my daughter is really too young to understand what's going on (9 months) but as she gets older it will be harder. I have the unfortunate task of working weekends, which makes it hard because the only nights she is away from the house is on weekends. Either that or during the week if Tyr and I both have to work graveyards. (Which is all this week  ) Anyway, that's about all I have to say.. sorry I couldn't be more help. Good Luck

We have three kids in the house, and another adult living in our basement.
When conducting sound tests (clapping hands and/or slapping paddle against palm) we realized that it's absolutely impossible that we have NOT been overheard.
The basement adult is less of a problem. I put the washer and dryer on which (I hope) helps with that.
Our kids? One of whom is a preteen? I wait until they're sound asleep, shut their bedroom doors, and pray for the best.
We're gutting our bedroom in the spring, and will make better soundproofing attempts then.
If I let this stop me...I'd never get spanked.
I should also say that I have memories of overhearing the same sounds...so hopefully my kids won't be too scarred. |

My kids are all grown but I will never tell them of my spanking interest. They all think I'm crazy anyway for divorcing their dad. I would never let my mom know either. She would have a stroke! Now that I'm in a new life, most of my friends now are all spankos so that takes care of not having to be careful in conversations.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken

what would be condsidered quiet? we have wooden paddles,leather padlles (2) a couple hairbrushes and a strap and they all make alot of noise.i read the cane might be somewhat quiet.i have never felt the cane.it looks like it could really hurt.i really love the fun spankings but can't seem to get the time alone because of the girls being home most of the time.the girls are 5.

The ruler strap from London Tanners is pretty quiet. The Vermont Bath Brush for a wood implement is pretty quiet. And of course the cane is top of the list as long as he strikes like I like to say "just nicely" or I can't guarantee that you will be quiet. |

Electrical cord is silent but deadly! It feels like rubber, but it's actually a metal cable wrapped in rubber. Careful when using it! |

Good one, Humblebutt! Depending on the wire cord you're using...an idea to use it safely...when you cut it, push the wires out just a bit more than the rubber coating, and chop the wire down. Push it back in, so the wire is now shorter than the cord. Also, would help to rubber dip the end, to close it off. The cable wire has a tendency to shift it's way out, and can cut the skin. Just taping the end will make it even nastier and then the tape is more apt to slice the skin too. Either way...it's going to be wicked. That's not necessarily a bad thing.

good morning all,
i can say from personal experince that the cane is very quiet compared to the paddle i normally get. the can "bits" much more then the paddle too. i got the cane a couple weeks ago for the first time and i want to tell you that the cane is no toy. my poor bottom was striped for days to follow. i'll be getting the cane again this coming friday and i am not looking forward to it.

Quiet is difficult. Just about anything makes some noise or it doesn't have a great effect. I took a sudden interest in playing moderately loud music. I like the sound insulation idea best.

Usually I use the cord from my boombox which has a wall plug on one end and another connector on the other. I double the cord so that I'm holding the ends. If I were to use a length of plain lampcord, I'd do the same. The ends are dangerous as they can draw blood and they're not very clean. I'd avoid hitting with the ends of the cord. If you want added oomph, you can put knots in the cord which leave serious welts but don't break the skin. If you're really into it, you can go to the hardware store and pick out some lengths of different gaged wire to make some homemade quiet implements. Just remember, it's metal, not rubber. It must be used with great care. It's a great self spanking implement, but there needs to be good communication between spanker and spankee in order to safely play with wire!

We have to use the garage, and very late at night, when our child is at home, thankfully it is SoCal, so it is more moderate temperature wise. I would be interested in something quieter also, especially when traveling. |

We use the car in the garage quite a bit. It is cold here right now, but the cold air on a hot bare bottom is very delightful.
Thankfully I have a SUV with a very large back seat (to accomodate my large backseat)

i'm sooo lucky to have a loving sister who understands my spanking desire. she has told me many times to just bring the kids over anytime if you guys need some time alone. she only lives 2 houes down the road.

Hi Fanny,
yes she does share my interest in spanking. she totally understands where i'm coming from. she is spanked much the way i am. us girls have been spanked all our lives and know no way. if i go 2 or 3 days without a spanking i really miss it.
