I can see that. Perhaps if you had asked if other Tops/Doms agreed with you or if they felt the same, they would have understood what you were looking for.

Hi all...considering it's my "Well rounded bottom" he's referring to., I think I'd like to add my two cents worth...lol.What I took from his post, was how it adds so much more to the experience, if you have a Dom or Top that understands that there is much more to it than just beating on someone- Even if you have some understanding on how to physically spank someone well, It adds an entire new level when you can be "Mind fucked", excuse my language, but it's appropriate here I think.FTop in Michigan, I would be interested in your opinion on this? Celticbratt, from the posts here, I'd say that it appears that you and Domglyn are VERY good together, on many levels. This is the type of relationship I hope to enjoy again.
As I see it, it's the "relationship" and connection between the couple that makes it special, not the scene, or the actual act of spanking (or whatever you enjoy together). The dynamic is created between you two, and it sounds like you both are doing a great job at loving every minute of it.
Many of my own "initial" partners were just casual playmates. Regular, but nonetheless, casual, in that they were acquaintances, or "just friends." I don't think that affords the pleasure of getting into their head, or vice versa. Those closer to me, have been quite different, in what we could enjoy.
I find I need to know my partner, BEFORE I engage in any type of scene with him. Knowing them is the only way to get into their head. My best advice, and something I practice, is to listen to them very carefully. It's not easy for a person to ask for what they want, for what they enjoy, or for something they may have fantasized after all their life. They may offer hints to it, all the time, just from regular communication though. Actions and emotions, as well as words, are the connection to figuring out what each other needs. Goes both ways...on the pleasure front, and getting into each other's head.

Wolfie, I've had a few long distance relationships, in the past, and only had the opportunity to meet up with my partners once in a while. The time in between was spent talking on the phone, in messages, and e-mails. During the in-between time, I was so very careful to take note of the hints, and passions, and fantasies, as well as complaints. When we got together then, my partner, many times, would forget that he shared this information with me.
