Have you enjoyed attending a spanking party, from an organized Real Life spanking group?
I've enjoyed MDSS in Detroit (before they went male Top only), Crimson Moon Chicago, and in Columbus when they were there, SCONY, as well as a few private membership groups. I've seen someone mention Shadowlane parties here too.
Have you been to a party, or want to go soon? How'd you like it? Was it what you expected?
What would make the ideal gathering for a group of real life spankos?

I went to a scony in NY, but only, but was too chicken to play witn anyone (as a bottom) but there were some fun toys there to use on my little subbie's behind.
I think it should be a group of people that know each other, though. |

Angelbabe, there are HEAPS in the UK. A friend of mine (and Wolfie's) is a Master there, and they are always having munches. 
I have been to two spanking get-togethers. They weren't part of a formal group, but rather a group of friends that know each other from another spanking board.
One of them was last weekend in Vermont. My hubby and I went, as did Wolfie. We had a wonderful time. While I chose not to bottom to any of the Tops there, I did spank three women, and get spanked by two.  And my vanilla hubby spanked all five bottoms!  |

Angelbabe, go to Britishspanking.com and join the group there. Their a nice bunch from all over the UK, and they are constantly having meets, munches and play parties. My Master is in the south, and goes to get-togethers as often as possible.
I have been to 3 get-togethers with folks from another site. Pagan was at 2 of them. I have also met Naughtynature and NYbrat who are on this site as well. And I have joined NYbrat in going to a bdsm club in NYC. I've made friends there and been spanked by several of them.
But when it comes down to it, I would rather play with Steve any day. No one can come close to him in understanding what I like and need...and being spanked by the one you love is heavenly!

You dont have to do anything differently there than you have here. Just get to know people in your area...you can take your time about meeting any of them.

I've been to 4 parties In Ohio that were put on by a group of people from a spanking chat room.
We have all gotten to know each other and are great friends. This year we just had a small get together. The Parties were getting rather large and people from other chat rooms would come and we did have a few problems with the past two parties. But for the most part they were fun we played games...talked..got to know each other...and for some it was a chance to meet for real. I have made some great friends from these parties!! |

Wolfie, when we get a group from Detroit to go to NYC, we work it to fit in with OTK night, or at least a SCONY party. Maybe we'll meet you one day!
The first time I went to Paddles, it was a Friday night before a SCONY Fall Social. What a surpise for me to walk in and know 9 out 10 people there. Some came into town for the Social, and some were local to NYC that I knew from online in another spanking group.
I've found most everyone to be more than friendly and welcoming.

When I first came to enjoy my interest in spanking I tried to enjoy every group that was in the midwest and on the east coast. You do sort of a crash and burn going that fast sometimes though.
I doh't spank men in public, but I'm happy to flog anyone.  I enjoy some aspects of public type play parties, but just find spanking to be too initimate to share with an entire room of folks.
I do enjoy the fun brought about by being in a group, but still keep the spankin private (Thus my old name: Privte)
I go to spankin' parties to enjoy friends, and never to actually spank anymore (at least not in the party room). Sounds a bit strange, but it works for me.

K, I don't think that's odd at all.
At the first party I went to, we left after observing two spankings. (Babysitter deadline, not because we were put off).
At the second, I did play publicly, but was only spanked by my husband. I think the other Tops would have been prepared to help out , but I was surprised to discover that I didn't want to be spanked by another man.
Two women tested out some implements on me, but it didn't have the usual spanking dynamic, so that just didn't count.
I know I'm not a casual spankee. I can't imagine being at a party when I can be hauled over the closest male lap simply because I'm a female bottom, no matter how playfully it would be intended. |

At my very first party, a very large sized woman...and I'm mean HUGE, pulled her pants and panties down in front of me, and an inexperienced man decided to whack her behind with a wooden paddle. This all in front of me, a few feet away. I was shocked beyond belief. One, that she just yanked down her pants (and panties, although in a thong) in front of dozens of people, and two, that the idiot spanking her was...well, an idiot. He whacked her like he was trying to knock her into the next room. I could only remember thinking, "this is FUN?" 
Fortunately, I got over it all. It just was not a good first image.
It's really not a free-for-all, although some people do their best to take liberties that are not afforded to them, just because of their position. (That could probably be a whole 'nother thread. )
Most party groups are actually fun, but can be frightening to the first timer. I remember a woman that came to a party once, sat down for about two mintues and couldn't even handle the "talk" about spanking. She left immediately.
Spankin' Parties aren't for everyone.

Ummm, let's be careful to maintain some privacy here ladies...there are other ears than ours.
I dont mind saying that I live in CT Neo, and I attend the otk night parties at Paddles in NYC. I usually take the train in and join friends from another group for a munch beforehand. Everyone is friendly, nice and we have fun together.

One group I found online, and when it went to M/F only play, I started another group, for everyone. Both groups are going through a bit of transition now, but we have great hopes for both of them.

I was searching for a local spanking group last night, when I discovered that there is going to be a "Kinky Craft Fair" with over 80 vendors later this month.
I SO want to go. I know what I'm going to ask Santa for this Christmas!

We have a Kinky Garage Sale this Saturday, just north of Detroit, and an upcoming Kinky Christmas Sale the following week, with local and national vendors. One sale is run by a social/eduational BDSM group, and the other is purely for profit, and put on to promote sales for the same folks that put on a fetish party monthly. Can't lose with either event.

Rose I feel the same way. So far I have never been "accosted" or harrassed at any of the meets or clubs Ive gone to...most folks are nice and ask if your interested first. I'm sure there are some folks in your area who have get togethers, you just need to find them.
