I hope it is okay for me to start a thread, let me know otherwise please. Also sorry if this has been a recent topic, I am new.
I like to sew and my husband loves costumes and fantasy play. I think his favorite is the maiden-in-distress complete with the split and ribbon tied bloomers. He also likes the feetie pjs with the drop seat. Anyone else enjoy fantasy playtime? |

Check the post under "Fun" about the Highlander scenario. Also check out the endart.com site--many ideas there. My absolute favorite. are still "Kiss Me Kate", the old version is two hand spankings with clothes on-the modern version is bare bottom Also the chase scene in "McClintock" is an absolute classic and is funny beyond belief (Maureen O'Hara sticks John Wayne is the butt with a hat-pin during one of the fight scenes.. Get the DVD. Every spanko couple should own these two classics both for role play. They are great for testing suposedly vanilla friends reactions as tehy are mainstream enough that all will enjoy but if there spanko tendencies these could help them get comfortable with them.

Sorry!! I wasn't clear. For us the personna in the TV shows and or movies creates the role play-we don't reenact we use the persona as starting points.
The Highlander scenario is damsel in distress with time travel. One of our favorites is also spoiled rich young brat (early 60's) and straight older corporate lawyer type. Costuming is fun for that one.
Have you thought about serving wench fantasies? We did that on a trip to Germany once with Merrie Old England Costuming and bloomers.
There are almost too many to list. TD said to suggest Bosun's mate and admirals daughter for a nautical flair.

okay, here goes nothing or should I say everything! My husband and I are home alone for a few hours and I pulled my old Catholic high school uniform out of the attic. Wonder if I am going to be send to the principal? I do hate doing Math homework. |

Yes, even I had to admit it was fun. At one point we couldn't look at each other without laughing. But then things took a more serious tone....thank goodness I didn't really have to do math equations, or we would still be at it! BTW the pink haze over the moon. tonight..is actually just my bum. |

Oh my goodness! I know I'm late on this thread, but I love roleplaying. We don't dress up much, only every now and then, but we act out all kinds of things. A lot of stuff we see on TV, we act out is someway or another.

Our problem is the accents-no matter how much we try our New York accents come out. Its hard to John Wayne or Desi when you sound like you should be asking for a corned beef sandwich!!

I can do a passable Southern accent for some role play but Les always winds up sounding like Bette Middler!!
Our goal is Mr. Drysdale and Millicent Drysdale from the Beverly Hillbillies. There is an excellent scene where Millicent goes OTK for along spanking on her panties after Mr. D drinks some of Granny's home brew medicine. After that Millicent is very cuddly at the party.
Its a goal. Right pilgrim!!

I have a slight southern accent but I've never tried using it for role-play. I might have to consider vamping it up a bit. I even saw a nice little southern belle outfit not too long ago that I could get for that.
I'm not sure what we do is exactly role-playing. It's more like I enjoy having pretty things to wear. I have a really pretty french maid's outfit I like. It doesn't get much use though since I never seem to get to wear it for long. |

I guess the southern accent is just something that works for us. I've been a southern belle my whole life...LOL.
I enjoy dressing up sometimes, but sometimes it's not needed, if you know what I mean. I've been a naughty cheerleader, sassy schoolgirl, lazy maid, naughty nurse, rude fastfood girl and just a good old fashioned spoiled brat just to name a few...LOL. 
I've never liked footed pajamas...they were always so hot, but we do have a pair of dropseat pj's that I've worn a time or two. We've had them forever and I think they were hubby's. |

I love "dress up"!! I never have to worry about the pjs getting too hot. The only part of me that gets too hot is the part that ends up being uncovered. But then again, I have never actually slept in them. Somehow they always have a way of falling off during the course night.

I'd love to engage in a role play sometime that is strictly the old type British victorian era and being told to go to the library and wait for him to appear and be called upon to answer for some transgression with the appropriate punishment being administered.
It will never happen, but I can fantasize.
