Did you know that ebay will no longer accept auctions for paddles and any associated items that contain the word "spanking"? I tried to list an odd-ball paddle that I'd found and a Nina Hartley how-to-do-it DVD and they booted me!! |

I had thought they eliminated anything BDSM related (including spanking) a long time ago. I don't understand the need to block the sale of items that are pretty much mainstream. XXX videos or "explicit" materials is understable. Any item, such as paddles would have to be advertised as a novelty toy, with key words to "imply" the fun use. There is a way around it, but I don't know if it's worth it, for the trouble.

Sorry, Bluepencil, I don't want to get into that business here. I'm trying to keep it a discussion forum.
We have a few ads at the top of the page and that's the most I want to do right now. I've been thinking about adding a links page to the site but that's a little complicated, as well, so I haven't done it yet. |

I just bought stuff on ebay and you can type 'spanking' in as a search keyword; I don't think it's a problem anymore if it was in the past.
Please sir, I don't need a spanking. I'll be good, I promise!

I tried to sell a novelty paddle and a Nina Hartley CD and they pulled the listings. Seems like it's kind of a selective thing with them.
