Crying and Spanking
I recently saw a video where the woman being spanked was really crying and it lasted for several minutes. I do not mean “Ouch OH Stop or yelling but a real heartfelt crying. Does anyone out there really cry when being spanked?
There are a lot of old posts from 2005, 2006 , 2007 that discuss crying.
I have spanked a number of grown women good and hard and have never had her break down and cry/sob. I am not sure how I would handle it if she did. At the conclusion of a spanking I have had women with faces redder than their bottom, eyes full of tears and in need of a tissue for their nose but no crying. Most woman have experienced a lot worse pain than one of my spanking. For me and my taste the actual hitting her on the butt is an essential part of a spanking but only a part of the process. It should hurt/extreme discomfort but not to the point of causing her to cry.
Everyone is different with different needs and expectations so I am asking what you think about crying before, during or after a spanking?

From what I've read and what some have posted either as real or fantasy spankings-some women need the release of crying but are reluctant to let it out. The crying from a spanking is their way of releasing pent up emotions. Personally I have not cried from a spanking and would not be happy if I did.

Interesting topic, Chuck.
In my experience as a spanker, I have learned that crying doesn't primarily happen because of the physical aspects of the spanking. The emotional aspect and level of remorse plays a major role in whether or not the tears start to flow. Sometimes physical pain is much more easy for a spankee to endure than the emotional pain. And that's what usually generates the tears - the emotional pain/remorse. A lot of my spankees have expressed that knowing they have disappointed me is what makes them cry, and that it's harder to deal with than the actual spanking itself.
I've spanked ladies who cried before the spanking even started; others didn't cry at all. But the fact of the matter is, the discipline was effective, with or without crying.
You were absolutely right that everyone is different and have different needs. However, in conclusion, crying is substantially beneficial, but not always necessary.

I'm often in tears by the midpoint of my spankings, and sobbing by the end. It's less a response to the pain than a catharsis, an emotional release.

I actually like crying from a spanking. It is an emotional release that I crave. For a long time at the beginning of my spanking relationship, I felt empty after a punishment spanking because my hubby would stop long before I would cry. He didn't want to hurt me, and I understood that, but my tears weren't so much from the pain but from understanding that my actions were not acceptable and I needed to behave more properly.
ps .. im new here

I haven't cried from a spanking. I scream(into a pillow)from the pain. I get the release,but I'd like the sobbing and tears to come.
Don't thank me...SPANK ME!

I have cried while being spanked but only seem to cry when I am being spanked for something serious I have done wrong and am sorry for it !
Usually, even when being spanked for minor discipline or a maintenance spanking I become aroused after the first few strokes.

Crying is difficult in adult spankees but much treasured by both parties when it does occur. Crying is THE goal in most RL spankings so it adds much realism to adult ones. It serves as a sort of "climax" to the spanking, similar to the orgasm in sex - one knows it has been successful when it occurs. Many women see it as a great stress reliever as well. The emotions experienced when getting a good lickin' are as important as the pain.

I would exercise caution when stating THE goal of spanking is ... The problem with an inclusive statement such as that, for some crying may not be the goal, and they may get the impression they are doing something wrong. There is room in the lifestyle for many different formats and dynamics to the relationship. It is an individual decision that comes from good communication with their partner.

Sometimes I really want to cry when I receive a hard spanking. For me crying belongs to a good spanking. It happens also sometimes that just for the sake I cry harder than I really would need to. Same is kicking with the legs while being over then knees and sometimes I even do a spanking dans rubbing my butt afterwards. And I know my hubby likes when I do that.

I don't spank my ladies really hard, but I do know how get a lot of sting.
I also talk to the ladies in a manner that adds to their embarassment and humiliation.
If I am just spanking with the hand I will usually get a little sniviling. But it's generally more from the frustration of loss of control and a little attitude adjustment.
If I'm teaching a lesson with a paddle, I get some kicks and screams, sometimes some tears. But will usually stop soon after the temper is in check.
