I donīt know if thereīs someone who experienced both but Iīm curious what lifestyle is better. Spencer plan gives more respect to equal relationship which I would like to mantain but I think that there might be underlying tensions of seeking revenge and mutual disrespect. On the other hand I fear that one-sided LDD might be kinda.. despotical for the lack of better word but itīs nice to know who is undisputable HOH.

I'm not either, I am not a spanker, nor would that be anything I would like to do. as my name suggest I am submissive, but not submissive to the point that I am not equal to my Hubby. the fact that I am spanked is because I have encourged it and allow it to happen.

I love play, pre sex spankings and am also on the receiving end of some punishment spankings. it is what you and your parter wish to make it. one size does not fit all.

the Spencer plan may be good for some and LDD for others or a combination of both, the best advise I can give is to talk with your partner, as I don't think one sided releationsips will last, JMO...
my name says it all

Honestly, I don't think anyone but you can decide which lifestyle is "better" for you. We're all unique individuals and what works for one person may not work for another. I'm familiar with both of these lifestyles but I never followed either plan completely.

My relationship isn't strictly one specific type of spanking relationship; it's a mix of many and that's the way it has developed for us. Dan is the HOH without a doubt and I'm a definite bottom who is submissive only in certain circumstances. We engage in mainly erotic spanking, but there's a bit of discipline in our lives and the occasional maintenance spanking when I need it. We didn't just pick one lifestyle choice and follow it to the letter, we just let it develop in a way that works for both of us. In fact, it's still developing.

I agree with Subbie, talk to your partner. It takes two, after all.

I went back and read the Spencer Plan and many ideas or at least the philosophy apply to my relationship with my wife.

As I understand it men and women are equal in the eyes of God and are equal partners in a loving relationship. This does not mean equality in the literal sense. Men and women have different roles and responsibilities in a marriage. I am HOH because we both want it that way. On occasion I will discipline my wife with a spanking and at the time she may protest but she submits and accepts her chastisement. This is what she wants and later when she has calmed down she will whisper a thank you for "doing what needed to be done" She is worried I will feel she is mad or resentful for what I did.

If my wife believed I was being mean, vindictive or abusive in any way it would be over.

Dorothy Spencer has the authority to whip her husband in her plan. When I screw up there is a price to pay but my wife may not whip or spank me. That is another story.

No plan is perfect for all. Have a plan but be flexible, communicate and do it with love.
