Back in the olden days, just about every truck stop and cheap little gift shop used to sell small paddles with colorful names like "Attitude Adjuster" or "Board of Education." They usually had a line illustration of some hapless lass rubbing her bottom with stars radiating from it.
I want to find one for a friend and with the franchises taking over the world they seem to be disappearing. I can't even find one on E-Bay! Has anyone seen one of these anywhere? |

I remember seeing those too. I guess I hadn't noticed but I haven't seen those in a while either. If I do come across one though I'll be sure to let you know.

Be patient. One shows up on EvilBay about once a month. I bought one there after my wife said her Mom once used one on her and her sister. |

I'm going to start keeping my eyes open for them too...it would be a fun thing to collect if you can find them.

I've found them in antique stores from time to time. In fact, I've found some sort of spanking implement (hairbrush, razor strop, paddle) in every antique store I've ever been in, I think.

There's a major kinky Garage Sale in metro Detroit every year (two weekends away in fact ). A few years in a row, I've taken a table to sell my wickedly creative homemade toys, and other goodies. A friend of mine had tons of paddles and asked me to sell his stuff too, if I could. In his bag of goodies, there were (are) two official "Board of Education" paddles, as well as a few other novelty ones. (The one that measures the manly "tool" is hilarious.)
I have to say that I was quite disappointed by the "Board of Education" paddle. I guess I remembered it from back when I was young and it looked so huge and menacing. It's really a piece of nothing. It's small, thin, and hardly to be used on anyone. It's really just for show, and not for use. I'm afraid they would probably break on use, and I think they were used only for visual threats. (While no one purchased them, almost EVERYONE picked them up to feel it.  )
I was fortunate enough to have an acquaintance surprise me with a homemade Board of Education paddle, when I dressed as a Nun for a Back-to-School party, some years ago.
I think you're better off with the homemade ones.

Wolfie you don't need to collect "Board of Education Paddles". Use your head... think what Steve would do with them after he told you to bring them to the UK so he could see them.
