I have explored this off and on for a long time. Anyone else out there into birching? It really is "something else!" |

Oh,oh, the birch... I've tried once on my own bottom... no, in fact, twice, the first time was just a trial... and not a pleasant one :-)) The second time was a punishment spanking, one of the most impressive, most effective and most painful ones... a very strong memory in fact. But I must say that birching is something I personally don't feel very much into... I just wanted to try and my Top was very much willing to let me feel it. Maybe it's stands the same unpleasant position as the cane, nothing I'd go for if I feel just in for a sensual spanking. But as the cane is much more in handy when it comes to a punishment, it's something I myself feel much more attached to then the birch. And it's such a typical punishment implement with such a tradition... hard to overlook... But the birch is really something else in this point of view... |

Yes. the birch. I like it. It stings enough to be pleasureably painful but does not hurt enough to be nasty.
I love it, especially whan I am over his lap, skirt up and knickers down. |

Nky13, I'm a fan of the birch - I love the act of putting one together, and tying it with a pretty red ribbon - sort of a traditional craft like making a corn dollie or thatching a roof or something. I would really like to use one on my girlfriend, but I'm the bottom around here when it comes to hard stinging twigs. I was over a chair with hands and ankles tied when I was birched, and it was followed up with a very supple switch from another tree - almost a cane, but not used quite as such. Marvellous. I do like using the things that Mother Nature provides! |

Yes, the hazel nut... have you tried?? What an unhappy person I was to meet a Top that in front of his chalet, there's hazel nut tree (or is it a bush?) growing  . I've never seen it growing anywhere else, just there, hell. My worst experience is exactly with that... I asked my man to beat me till I start crying, but the pain was sooo much for me to bear (my bottom even still quite blueish from the strapping last evening) that I begged him to stop. Well, I started to cry much much later in our spanking relationship and didn't need that much pain. I remember I had a very hard time sitting in the train back home (or even walking)  , never experienced it before and never after that. A nice memory. Even documented on a picture. Whenever I look at it, I feel like, wow, this bottom is something that will never happen again... and I'm not really sure whether to be happy or sad  . I wouldn't like to experience that degree of pain again (don't I feel sooo much attracted to the idea) and I don't bruise that easily now either. |

 I would LOVE to have the birch tried on me! I can still remember the first time I saw one - not it real life, but in a vintage photo. I didn't even know what it was, it just looked weird. But, since I'm so experienced now with various implements, etc., I know that I would love it. I, like Badtom, would like to craft a beautiful birch for my DH to use on me!

Hmmm..I may be totally out of my tree, but I'm thinking about going to find a hazel nut plant now! The more Vulcano warns us about the pain, the more I want to go for a woodland walk... |
