OK- I know I'm not the only Pagan who posts here. I have a queston for you all. I just came across a book about Pagan sexuality, and there was an entire section on the "Dark eros and B/D, S/M, ect. It really was quite interesting to me, and brought up the fact that subspace is equivilant to altered states of consciousness obtained through drumming, meditating, fasting, ect., and suggested that a larger than statistically warrented number of people who are Pagan are into this lifestyle as well. I got to thinking about it, and damn if they aren't correct! I'm Pagan- both Wiccan and Druid. My Dom is Pagan, but hasn't really declared his own fellowship as yet. My Top that I play with is Wiccan, as well as his wife. ANyone else ever come across this concept, and if so, your thoughts please???

Well Celticbratt, I'm Wiccan too and I have to say from my own experiences...I dont know.

On most of the sites I visit I would say that the majority of posters are christian. There are always a handful of pagans too, but not nearly as many. One thing you dont find a lot of are folks who are jewish...I wonder why that is?

I'm not sure I agree that paganism and bdsm run hand in hand, I'd have to talk to a lot more pagans to be sure about this. Here's a thought though...perhaps more pagans are into spanking and such because they dont have the typical hangups some religions bring, like sex is bad and anything out of the norm will send you to hell. I was raised a christian, and I know that there are still times when I get twinges of "I'm going to pay for this somewhere down the road".

Thankfully the pagan part of me always follows up with "Stop that, the Goddess wants you to be happy".
wolfie loves Steve more than anything else in the whole world...even more than chocolate and lobster!

WHY ISN'T IT OCTOBER YET? *stamp*

I too was raised Christian, but anymore I have turned more toward Pagan, in terms of beliefs. I haven't done alot of research about it, however I Would LOVE to. Maybe I will start a thread in the everyday life that discusses the beliefs of Paganism.
May the Spirit of the Elves guide you.

I have to say I am intrested in this topic as well as a Pagan. I have to agree with Wolfie about the lack of sexual oppression within the fundamental teachings of the Wiccan faith.

I would participate in a thread discussing the the "teachings" of Paganism.

Blessed Be,BigGirl
