First of all, I LOVE endorphins! As someone with a disease that can keep me in constant pain, I've found that the release of endorphins can mitigate the pain almost completely for a while. Granted, it's not much fun when they wear off...but that's just an excuse for another spanking, right?

I havent achieved subspace yet...but then we havent really been trying either. We hope to be able to get me there on my next visit to England. I believe I came close once while being spanked at the club by an experienced Dom, but not knowing him well and worrying about the atmosphere pulled me out of it immediately.

Subspace should only be attempted by someone with experience, or who has been taught by another who is very familiar with it. I'm sure it is a wonderful experience, but there can be problems as well. I have heard of subs/bottoms getting badly beaten because they went into subspace and the Top or Dom didnt realize it at the time. Thinking the spankee was merely being stubborn or not communicating, they upped the power behind the strikes trying to get a reaction. Another problem can be a sub/bottom coming out of subspace. It can be disorienting, confusing or even frightening for some, with bouts of shaking and weeping afterwards. The person should be covered with a blanket to keep their body temperature up, and cuddled and held until they are feeling more themselves. Offering water is a good idea too.

You dont need to go into subspace to enjoy the endorphin rush, and like anything it should be tried with an experienced person in the beginning.

Wolfie your right about the care needed when going into sub-space.As my significant other isn't my spanker I have a Dom. He was trained by an old guard Madame and has been a Dom for 18+ years. As He was able to put me there sense our first session He knows me well and knows when I'm there. I usually rest afterwards and where others may nap I'm aware of my surroundings and know I'm safe as He always makes sure I have a blanket and drink before I lie down plus monitors me until I'm up again. This feeling of well being now last many days for me. I always feel cared for and very lucky. If you feel a release from pain with endorphins you have a treat in store for you just multiply that feeling by ten. NOTE: All those warnigs on med labels apply to sub-space--no driving, operating mechinery etc.etc. I'm routing for you. Speccotter.

Thanks Speccotter, I'm really looking forward to the experience. :-)

Since I will be in England at the time, I expect my Dom wouldnt let me drive even if I hadnt just been in sub-space....just the thought of me driving on the "wrong" side of the road gives me chills.

AH- Sub-space....sign me up forever and ever. The first D/s-S&M session I ever had put me there, and I've been an addict ever since. As far as shaking afterward, it still happens to me every so often- I actually like the bodies physical reaction to what has happened. There is NOTHING quite so wonderful as looking your Dom/Top, in the eyes, and just letting yourself gooooooooo.....Then "coming around" if you will, in his arms, being petted and held and loved. Wolfie, I wish you the best of luck getting there, just don't get so focused on getting into sub-space that you forget to enjoyy the ride.

I dont think that will be a problem Celticbratt, just being with him is enough to raise my endorphin level.

Hey Doms where are you??? We may have to change the title Dom to whimps, as you are allowing the subs/bottoms to DOMINATE most of the threads. So sad, but we always knew we were stronger(we just let you think you are). Speccotter
