I'm trying to come up with ideas for how to make better use of our chat room. For those of you who haven't set up your chat room account, go the the Chat Room Details area and find the thread titled "Welcome! (How to find the chat room)" and follow the instructions there.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in joining in if we scheduled chats that focused on a pre-determined topic? For example, we could hold a chat on Discipline (domestic and otherwise) and set a date and time for the discussion to begin.
We could have discussions in real-time and let people who haven't used the chat room yet (or have gone there and not found anyone) a chance to check it out.
Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated! |

That would be a lot of fun. I'd come visit if my work schedule and the chat schedule don't conflict!
I used to chat-host for aol. We had weekly scheduled chats, each host had his/her specialty topic they discussed. It was loads of fun. Inbetween topics there was open chat. With a couple of scheduled topics and open chat inbetween (intermission, as it were), it would be a great addition to the den.
On the down side, finding times when people can attend... time zones and all. Meybe have west coast wednesdays and UK thursdays? You could run a survey to find out what times people could/would most want to attend.
And people need to be able to find the schedule easily or they forget to look! Pretty much need to put it front page sticky'd at the top.
Good luck launching the project, It sounds great!

Thanks, Weasel! Those are some good suggestions about the managing of time zones.
If we get this started, I plan to start a new set of threads for the scheduling of the topic related chats and it will be posted in the Chat Room Details area. |

If anyone has suggestions for topics for these chat sessions, please chime in!
I'm thinking about starting with one of these sample topics:
"Spanking; turning fantasy to reality"
"How to keep from being a lonely spanko"
"Spanking from the spankee's point of view"
"Spanking relationships; the real story"
"Implement guidance"
Any other suggestions or topics you'd like to see taken on?
We have a number of people with various experience levels so these discussions would be good for all of us. We'd love for the newbies to join in so we can get to know you. Don't worry that you don't have anything to add, everyone who is interested in spanking has something to bring to the table. You may not have experience, but you have the heart of a spanko and that's all that matters. In fact, you don't even have to be a spanko, you may be trying to understand because you have a spanko in your life and that's just as valid a reason to join in as anything. |

It sounds like you are reading my mind; each of the listed topics is of interest to me. I'm a real newby and want to hear and learn about spanking as its been a fatuation for a long time. Anything I can do to help, or any help you can provide about using this site, please say so. |
