I'm seeing some terms used on the forum that I'm not familiar with. Can someone help me out? For example, I'm not sure what a topper is, and what a DD relationship is. Those are the only two I can think of right now, but I'll be back with any more I find. Thanks in advance! |

DD is domestic discipline and to "top" is to be the spanker or the dominant part of the equation. The spankee would be the "bottom", or the submissive partner.
Some day you'll spank me... er thank me for this!

A topper is (at least as far as I know) the person who spanks. Also in same manner - those whose bottoms are being spanked are often called bottoms. Also in place of "top" and variations, you may see HOH (Head of House) which I know confused me for ages.
As for DD it usually means Domestic Discipline.

Quick references:
hoh - head of the house
dd - domestic discipline
otk - over the knee
cp - corpral punishment
xp - experience(s)
sub - submissive spankeee
dom - dominate (Spanker)
bb - bare bottom
bd - bondage & discipline
sm - heavier sub/master forms of sadistic pain
I was a top years before I found the net and was puzzled by a lot of these and more |

In regard to "TTWD" (which I personally hate for various and personal reasons), we prefer to just come right out and say "spanking" or whatever it is we're talking about. We're all adults here and shouldn't be afraid to say the words. Also it's confusing because some people use that term to refer to spanking and others to BDSM subjects. That's probably why it didn't get mentioned here. |
