I have next to no experience with role play, and I have a question. Is it possible to do a role play for erotic reasons, that doesn’t have a hint of discipline in it at all? No “You’ve been naughty, get over my lap!” or “What a brat...you need a spanking!”
To most of us spanking was created as a form of punishment, at one time mostly used on children and wayward wives. We saw it in cartoons and on tv programs while growing up, read about it in books and watched it in the movies...and each time it was used as a form of discipline. I personally can’t remember any scenes where spanking was used for erotic purposes only. Can anyone?
If you have done role play or fantasized about it, can anyone explain to me how you can do one without even the flavor of discipline in it? And if you have done one, could you tell me about it? I have been unable to come up with a single scenario since a conversation concerning role play came up.
I appreciate your help, this is perplexing me greatly.

I love role playing, Wolfie. I guesss it is drama queen coming out in me. The damsel in distress is a great erotic game, as well as the virginal bride. If you want to be more adventurous you can always go the way of a hooker. There is also the picking up of a "stranger" at the bar. "Have we met before?"

Yes, but can you do the spanking part without it sounding like discipline? In other words...how do you get the damsel over his lap without using disciplinary excuses? Is she just turned on by being rescued and says "please spank me before we make love"? Because if he asks why and she says "because I was naughty, getting myself locked in that tower"...that's still discipline.

Oh Wolfie, I thought you meant role playing with no spanking involved, just sex. My misunderstanding. My guess to encorporate erotic spanking is to really have no "script" in place, just tickle and spank, sensual massage and spank, hands all over and spank, deep kissing and spank. So I guess then it wouldn't really be called a complete spanking, just different firmness of swats. It would be bit difficult to do an OTK without it seeming to be disciplinary.
With that in mind, I can tell you R sometimes like to pull me across his lap and manually stimulate me to climax. He uses his other hand to rub my backside and I am never quite know whether there is going to be an ouch or two put in for special effects. Mostly it depends how quickly I respond to his touch. It is very erotic.

Thank you Fanny, that is helpful. But I dont know if you would really call that role play. I've been spanked and *Ahem* played with as well, but we werent being anyone but ourselves at the time. I dont think its possible to be pirate/captive, cowboy/city girl, Teacher/student without using some form of mock discipline to get the spanking underway. 
Stevie, I would love to hear your story. Why not post it under reading area so everyone can enjoy it?

Oh you are being impossible to please my dear lady.  If you can do the above as yourselves, why not do it in role play as well? Why wouldn't a pirate or cowboy do the same thing. It's all in the costuming, you are what you wear.

I don't know how to answer your question either Wolfie. Mr. B and I are mostly always playing, but for the spanking there is always an undertone of the naughty girl. According to him I deserve the spanking because I have done something I should not have even if he can't remember what it is at the time. He is sure he will be able to come up with something eventually and if not, then the spanking is just because. - Which is good too. But, alas, no real role play.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

There is always the "I don't have a reason to spank you, I just want to" Use a scenario of like a bf/gf in the park and they just want to experiment with it. Like The boyfriend says "Okay, I will sit down on this log and you lay across my lap" and as the spanking progresses he gets firmer and the sting builds and builds and the girlfriend at some point says, something about him being really good at this, he must have done it before. or something, and it progresses until both parties are fulfilled
