OK I have to vent/ask/get this off my chest/see if I am the only one... all of the above HA HA HA

I am in a domestic discipline marriage and it is great..but my husband wants me to take punishment quietly. As in NO ouches no Oh's No nothing other than counting....

Has anyone else had this or gone through this?

I can take erotic spankings for hours but discipline ones just put me in a whole different place. I wiggle, cry and plead from almost the first swat. Any advice and or tips on taking them better is most appreciated.

Have you discussed this openly with your husband?
When punishment is involved...Good spankings are supposed to hurt !
When it hurts...we react...it is as simple as that !
Hope this helps...

You know, I was always the opposite way. I squirm and cry out and gasp during erotic spankings but am stone still during a punishment

My Husband accepts my natural outbursts but will not tolerate verbal outbursts like begging or trying to get out of the spanking. It may not be totally realistic that you make no noises at all (maybe if you have a bottom made of steel LOL), it's only natural to react as Wilson said.

I can't ever remember a time when I was silent while getting spanked.

Different noise for different spankings.

I am a squirmer, wiggler, oucher and pleader. Couldn't keep me still or quiet with a whole roll of duct tape.

Ok...I don't cry but I do wiggle and squirm and holler and hold my breath and "owchie" and "dammit!" and put my hand back (which gets held to my back when he can catch it) and kick and huff and puff.

Satisfied?

Have you told him that's what gets you to that "whole different place".

He might understand it if he knew how important a part of the scene it is.

Loud bottom, huh? =) As a top I would have to say I like reaction, not over reaction, I would never expect silence on a real spanking punishment, but I have been turned off by drama queen screams before the swat happens, in such a way that it sounds like a civil war amputation. Natural reactions are a turn on. As a guy I can tell you we can feel threatened when a girl gets too loud at any thing, like I felt like the drama queen was trying to turn the spanking into abuse, even though she was concenting, it just made me uncomfortable. My advice is tell him you want the spanking and just need to vent while your getting it. Most guys really want girl to be honest, but just don't want to feel cornered. Smile when you say it, he will understand, a good bottom is too hard to come by for him to get to ugly over it!

That's funny, because when I am being spanked he just keeps swatting harder until he does get a response. He'll say something like "hmmm. only one ouch for that one" then he'll try harder or move to a different spot....or God forbid the back of my thighs!!! That is a quadruple ouchie!

I agree.... I wouldn't be able to keep quiet if my life depended on it. That being said, isn't audio a valid an important source of stimuli?

I think my problem is I over-react. As someone pointed out reation is good over reaction is not and I think that is what I have been doing and not meaning to be or not realizing I was doing.

We still have not had a chance for me to talk about it with him but I hope to soon....

OK Here is my update... Last night I talked about it to my DH for the first time and Aka -- you were right. It was not that I react but OVER react. It's not the crying he hates its the "drama" and "protesting" that I do. So the new rule is now... I can be emotional but there is to be no Pleading to "Stop" no kicking and blocking his swats and no pulling away.

I feel much better since talking to him

I'm glad you got to talk to your DH. I always feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders after a good talk about our DD.
