An interesting question has come up.What,s your favorite position for getting or recieving spankings.Over the knee(my favorite)Lying down or standing up.Just something that came up in a chat with somebody in the den. |

otk BUT!!! not while my spanker is sitting in a straight back chair. i would much prefer if we were on the couch, it makes it more comfortable to me to be able to extend my body fully on the couch then dangling all over the place. it helps me concentrate on the fire being put into my butt rather then trying to stay otk.ALSO! It hurts so much more because your skin is stretched out. its a major ouchie |

OTK, for sure. I also agree with Blushingbride, that on the bed is the most comfortable. Second favorite is on the bed with my partner's bottom elevated with the use of pillows. |

standing up bent over the armchair is the only way to go you can get some real power into the strokes and chose the target much better.

Yeah Tacho but you say in your profile that you prefer the hand and with the hand you can get just as much oomph into it otk as standing. Not so with an implement then I think it,s better standing.I think the difference is the feeling of personal contact you have over the knee.Thanks for the comment. |

I do otk but prefer the standing, i prefer the hand but that does not mean that it is the only thing i use.
I like to take standing up as well as give, otk is always difficult position perhaps thats why i dont like it that much.

I like to use many positions from OTK to bending over touching your toes...(the old fashion school way). To bent over the back of a sofa or one that I like is face down on the bed. Will pillows under to lift that bottom up so it my get the kiss of leather. But I would love to find a pillow a rubber inflatable pillow that would work properly. Standard pillows just flatten out doing nothing... |

I like OTK as a first choice, but I like the straigh back chair more than the bed or couch maybe it has to do more with being submissive than comfortable.
My second choice (like I get a choice lol) is kneeling on the chair with your hands on the back. |

OTK is by far the best and only position that I use to warm a nice round bottom. It is more intimate and extremely sexxxy. |

Also I like laying over the back of our couch or love seat.
Helps keep me in position for a paddling or a whipping with his belt. |

OTK is great but I like to have my feet dangling so I feel more out-of-control and can't get away. We have not found an OTK method that would accomplish this goal.
The current most commonly used method for a more severe spanking involves placing a thick suitcase at the bottom of the bed, placing a couple of folded blankets over it and adding a bed chair upside down. A bed chair is a cushion which has a back and arm sides which is supposed to allow you to sit up and read in bed.
When I am bent over that, my feet leave the floor and my wife can hold me in place much more easily. The position gives the stretched skin effect and also makes it easier for her to smack the proper spot harder. I am less likely to be able to sit for a while after one of those.

I like OTK, favorite is on the bed. But, I am small so when OTK with him sitting, my feet and hands are off the floor so I do feel helpless in that position which can be a good thing if it isn't a punishment spanking. |

OTK, but bent over furniture, counter or such other surface. Diaper position also works well. But then again, some prefer to dish it out and others prefer to be on the receiving side.

Now that I have some experience to reflect on (smile) my favorite is OTK with both of us on the bed. Second fav is with pillows under my hips on the bed with him standing beside it. Thanks to Scubasteve's post I think over furniture is next to be sampled.
