I know that many of us in long term relationships have found times when spanking just didn't fit into our day to day life. Other times one partner or the other temporarily lost interest.
What can anyone contribute to how they coped with the absense of a part of their lifestyle that they are suddenly without?

I am not a good "coper" Fanny - You know that I had to be without spanking for months (recovery) and it was difficult. Of course, there was a good reason for that absence. 
I know that I think about and am much more involved in spanking then hubby is - so there are times when I just have to say...."hey hon - its been a while since I have been over your knee"
Life sure does know how to throw a monkey wrench into spanking fun doesn't it?

We go without spanking for months sometimes at my house. Life just gets in the way. I don't cope well either. Its okay at first but then there is just this "need" for it.
I'm lucky enough that I can just say to my husband...hey its been a long time...and that will ususally be all I have to say.
I'm finding lately that it isn't even so much life that gets in the way...its just that we are both so tired at the end of the day and that is when we have the time for spanking. After the other family members are in bed...we are just to tired.
I hope this isn't what it will be like in a few years. You know getting older....getting more tired. Maybe a good nap during the day would help. Hubby can't do that though. |

Life does get in the way, we were going to go to the shore tonight but hubby has two jobs that are promised to be finished so he will go to work tomorrow for 5 hours or so and then we can go but any midnight fun we planned for tonight is now shot down and tomorrow night we have some company coming, so kiss this weekend goodby, no spanking fun now.
I don't cope too well, just grin and bear it grrr.

That is the whole point, Tammy!!! Not having enough time to "bare it" 
So I guess none of us cope very well with it, I personally eat a lot of chocolate and hope for the best.

Right now I'm so fustrated with lack of spanking in my house not all the chocolate in the world could help!!

It's not me that has lost interest lately...it's the Old Feller I'm married to!
I feel so neglected...sniff sniff
I'm cranky as well!!!
I don't know what his loss of interest is contributed to. I've tried talking to him about it but in one ear and out the other.
I guess I'll just have to wait till he decides to take care of me.
In the meantime...watch the dark cloud above me!

I just sent my husband an e-mail. I said it as plain as I could. No beating around the bush. I told him I missed spanking. I need spanking. I want spankings!!

I want to jump on the frustration bandwagon and vent too! Life just keeps on getting in the way!!!!!
I got so tired of it a couple of weeks ago that I took an old red lipliner that was ready to be thrown out anyway and drew a big bulls-eye on my bare backside, then I marched into the gameroom, shut the door, planted myself right in front of where he was playing playstation and showed him the moon!
I wish there was a simpler way to get through to them but as far as my man goes, visual aides are almost always required. |

To me, spanking doesnt get boring and if I was to do without it for a long period of time... well, I guess that just wouldnt happen. I would have to paddle myself <g> as for sex becoming boring. NOT in my LIFETIME!

Spanking has NEVER been boring that isn't the problem EVER in my house, but there are times when it just doesnt happen for one reason or another. I'm not sure how sex got in this topic it wasn't part of the original topic, but I have never found that to be boring either. |
