Frannkeegirl brought up the subject of using other forms of discipline besides or in addition to spanking. She has mentioned soaping and writing. Anyone else want to add to the discussion on ways they have been disciplined?
I will start the discussion to say that I have beem forced to go without panties for the day to remind me what to expect when I get home.

I don't think I've had any other form of punishment other then spanking.

Well in my household, any soap better be for washing my back.  But we have tried it, and it didn't bother me. I guess I try just about anything once.
Because my husband travels, we do need to come up with ideas for keeping me order control (hard to believe, I know) Early bedtimes are the most popular, cos I hate to go to sleep. Insisting I phone in sick for work, if I am, is another.
I am sure there are many tried and true ways that some members have experimented with. Anyone want to open up? No judgements made, and you may just give some of us some interesting ideas.

Fanny, can I ask, what do you mean by insisting that you phone in sick as a punishment? Is it just kind of a watching out for your health sort of thing? |

Back to topic: My last long relationship functioned for its last 2 or so years as a long distance one, so we did have to get a little more creative. Really, as I had roommates, I'm probably a little grateful he didn't think of self-spanking. No essays or soap either.
My ex had me do lines once or twice. Or he'd essentially ground me or tell me I couldn't do something or to wear (or not wear) a certain article of clothing. When I used to sleep with a collar, telling me not to that night was a common punishment.
Another thing he did a few times, because I'm wont to walk around outside when I talk on the phone (or I used to be, not so much now that I don't have roommates), I'd wind up sitting on a bench (or worse pavement) and do or say something, he'd make me pull my coat over my lap and take down my pants and panties and sit on the ground... not generally for long--but even 15 or 30 seconds can feel like an eternity when your bum's cold and you're panicked someone will see you.  . I wouldn't reccommend that sort of punishment; I didn't particularly like it (look! understatement!), but it did get my attention, and it's something I've done.
I don't know exactly how I feel about that relationship though as it ended essentially on the note of "I can't trust him," which is so crucial in a D/s scenario and makes you reevaluate every action ever, so... how I view the punishments may be a little or a lot skewed.

Lets see, I've been sent to bed early. Corner time (if he doesn't want the kids to see he will do it in his closet). Cold showers. TV privileges taken away. Not allowed to masturbate. With other girls he has spanked one of the girls who did nothing in front of the guilty party to demonstrate that their actions affect others. I believe he has also used anal sex as a punishment for reminding a girl the importance of having condoms. Also writing assignments, lines, and shutting off contact for a period of time. Mouth soaping. That's all I can think of right now. For the record, not all of these have happened to me. Mostly I'm a good girl and if I do mess up I'll get spanked cause that works for me. However he does sometimes change things up.
