I have yet to cry during a spanking, but would love to experience what I imagine is a cathartic release. My "not crying" may be a result of not being in a committed relationship, so my spankings have been more of a casual nature, play, etc. I think it takes a good headspace and absolute emotional comfort with the spanker to enable spanking. |

I can't really answer as to why I don't cry. It isn't like some of the spankings don't hurt...they do some of them a lot. I cried once and it wasn't from the pain...it was just a release of a lot of pent up emotions.
I wish I could cry more often. I really wish I knew why I can't/don't. |

I have a wierd natual ability to make my females cry before their spanking. from the scolding. I have a couple of them cry from pain but I have seen a lot more emothional "guilt" crying than "Pain" crying. |

My guy and I are still new-ish to this spanking scene, since I came out to him earlier this year about my desire to be spanked. I found that he wasn't quite "getting it" after he laughed at my having made a (rather nice) leather covered paddle, complete with whip-stitching around the edge. He laughed!
I thought about it for a few days, posted here about it, and what ended up happening was that I told him SOMEONE was going to get it with that damn paddle, whether it was me or him was to be seen.
Guess who ended up over whose lap that night. And he didn't cry. He thoroughly enjoyed it, I could hardly believe it but he really liked it. Now he gets it AND he GETS it. Now when I get it, I get it more they way I wanted it in the first place.
But... no tears from my guy.
No tears from me either. It just doesn't affect me that way. Yet. Ya never know what the future brings!

Hey Cpchevi you said you make "all your females" cry, your very young, i bet you would have a harder time with a more mature (nice way to say older) woman. just my opipion.(no disrespect meant) what do you all think can someone so young be a dom to someone older?

I never cry from spankings or from everyday life. Really wish that I could. Crying is this huge degrading thing for me and I would feel so vulnerable and pathetic if I cried. Last weekend a lot of things in my life hit me pretty hard all of a sudden and he held me in his arms and told me that it was okay to cry and that he wouldn't think any less of me if I did, but I still couldn't do it. He spanked me once for the sole purpose of trying to get me to cry because he knows I need to but I stopped myself. Any advice on how to let myself cry? Sorry bout this being kind of off topic. |

It's not that easy to make yourself cry if you are blocking it in the first place.If you can identify why you suppressed this to start with you maybe able to let go.Though a lot of people feel weak/degraded,etc if they do,but crying is not a crime.It's an emotional release which often reflects how you feel about the situation your in or around.
When younger I suppressed all my feelings as I saw it as weak,but it wasn't until my mid twenties that I met a woman who I thought was the one and decided to let go.It worked,a little too well,but I have learned to control my feelings better and now my wife gets all the love she needs/wants and deserves. |

I've never cried either,even though my S/O doles out some real hard spankings with both hairbrush and strap.Guess i haven't gotten into that space yet but would like to give it a try.I go through all the promising to behave and begging her to stop but haven't broke down in tears yet.I8 think if she go's a little harder and longer it might happen.I'm going to mention that to her. |

I have been spanked many times with a large hard wood hairbrush very very hard and have never cried. However, pain has never made me cry. I think it would be better if I could cry, something seems to be missing without the crying. |

I think the reason a male doesn't cry that easily is because it sub-consciously would bring out his feminine side! Unfortunately this probably holds back a complete sexual experience during punishment.

Only a very luck few ever do cry. Must be great to just let go and let it all out, wish I could one day have that happen to me. I think its more of our up bringing that does not let us cry. Its that...only whimps and babies cry...be a man suck it in and all that stuff. And you ladies are a huge part of this problem as when a guy shows his feeling and there is a tear, then come the comments like...god what big cry baby. So from years upon years of conditioning...we hold it all in. This is why guy die much sooner as well I think. We are stressed out 24/7 and don't you dare show it, as its a sign of weakness in the eyes of you females. |

I am not going to comment on the above statements that blame "you ladies". I am 100% female and 100% bottom and yet I do not cry during a spanking. I don't think any blanket explainations fit anyone. I do not view crying as a sign of weakness. I have been in pain to actually passing out (not from a spanking) and never shed a tear. Other times when I have say good bye to one I love, there have been rivers. As a side note, when our son went off to Marine boot camp, my husband, my grown son and I all cried openly at the airport.

I think men you cry are so much better as a person. Only real men cry wheather it be a spanking or for something sad. It is more of a macho thing passed down from father to son. Your not a man if you cry blah blah blah. Men need to stop hiding thier feelings maybe if they did this females wouldn't be so confusing to them. Letting out a flood of emotions is 10 times better then holding them in. |
