Patience is a virtue...
With guys, you have to play connect the dots - and the dots need to be very close together so they get it!
I keep reminding myself of these things as I try to gently and slowly lead my husband into the role of Spanker.
My latest brainfart panned out quite well. Mr W. always wanted to have more anal play in our relationship than I wanted. I fabricated an evenings play to lead him through when this toy arrived, since he's just not the most imaginative guy on the planet. When the mail came on Friday, there was our new little toy. I did not tell him it arrived.
We had a dinner guest the following evening, and just as she was arriving I began implementing my battle plan: I told him (in my most contrite voice) "I've been bad, honey, really bad. "Not as sorry as you're going to be!" he growled, just as our dinner guest knocked at the door. Now he had to wait til she left to find out more! The seeds were planted, that anticipation that makes the spanking oh-so delicious for me was growing and growing!
Dinner was wonderful, we had a great time, and our guest left, totally oblivious to the edge of sexual tension and anticipation between us.
Once she'd gone home, we were free to begin our session. I had rather orchestrated the evening, and led him to where I wanted him to go without seeming too pushy. My plan worked well.
We are both new to this, so I found and printed out a fairly well-worded essay on what a woman wants from a spanking. It turned me on when I read it, so I figured reading it out loud to him would probably turn him on as well.
The evening's entertainment began with me dressing in a white silk top and black mini-skirt. Then I got a well-deserved spanking OTK for not telling him when his new toy arrived. When he finished his shower, I got him a drink, and offered to read the essay to him, to give him some insight into the spankee mindset, and how a spankee might wish to be viewed, treated, and punished.
He listened. He took it to heart. He Got It! I got the best spanking session ever and he is now agreeing that he likes it more every time he spanks me.
Bringing a taste of what he wants into the mix really helped us both! I know that like myself, there are many others who are just learning how to present their desires to another. The best advice I have for them is to take it slowly, and honestly. Articulate to yourself what you really want first, before you try to tell another what you want, and be patient!
I'm so glad Mr. W is getting it! It means I'M getting IT!

Wooo HOooo... well done Weasel! Will you please post or email me the what a girl wants essay. Hubby was a bit remorseful when the last punishment spanking brought me to tears. Funny thing, I was happy and loved him oh so much more! Thanks for the post!
