I joined this site to meet like minded people and by and large that's who I found.I have enormous admiration and respect for the Den and it's brilliant founder;the ineffable Bethie as well as her hard working and witty moderators.
THREE CHEERS FOR THEM ALL!
I would like to share the special privilege I have had in coming to Know one of them,Fanny,very well through this forum and now I have a friend who is a gift from God.
Friends,I want to tell Fanny I love Her right here so you all know it.Our love is the best kind there is and has changed my life.And that doesn't necessarily mean we've met.HMMM,eh?
so thank you spanking den for absolutely doing what you set out to do:enabling communication for those who knew they needed it.Plus infinity.
And Fanny? Precious I love you. |

I too met Fanny thru this site.....and I consider her a friend and an inspiration - she was the first one to PM me when I wrote about my cancer and surgery, and to this day she "checks up" on me to see how I am doing. All of this from a website? yes  She, along with others, have become my friends.....and its my privilege to know them.
Fanny...If you are reading this - I love ya girl! Know that you are in my prayers. I want to share this with you (someone sent it to me):
Hang in there and have patience
with yourself and the situation.
Live in the moment, one day at a time,
not fretting about the past
or worrying about the future.
You have stregth enough for the present,
and that is all you need for now.
Allow yourself the luxury of peace,
and don't take on more than you have to.
Learn to let go.
Refuse all negative thoughts;
replace them with positive ones.
Look for the good things in your life
and make a point of appreciating them.

I havent gotten the chance to really know you but by the looks of it you have done a lot of good around here!!! Keep your head up and keep pushing on!! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers and I really hope that you know that there are people around here that love and care for you and just because one or two are louder in their objection doesnt mean anything!! |

Seriously Fanny, we all love you and want you to stay in whatever way you can. You've been a wonderful friend and I can't imagine this place without you. I'm sorry I left you to the #@*#@*&! but you did an amazing job of keeping your cool under fire. You didn't deserve any of that and I'm so sorry I wasn't here to back you up. Pleeeezzzzzzze don't leave us. You don't want to hear all the heinous whining that I'll do if you try to leave. Really, you don't, just ask Dan.  |

We are a community. It is childish for us to fight between ourselves. Outsiders think we are sick. These sites are for like-minded people to give support. Those that wish to bicker are bored and need to get some kind of sex life. Fanny may return but she is able to find love and support in other places. I am privileged to enjoy Fanny's company and the members of this site had the chance to be her friend. I have the opportunity to tell her that I love her every day, and I am happy to be part of her life. |

Oh my goodness, I am overwhelmed!
You people are the greatest, and I mean that with all my heart.
Bethie and HT, we only go back a year, but it seems like I have known you forever, you are both a part of my soul.
Pinkcheeks, together we can conquer cancer and the world, we have the power.
Shylah and Tammy, you keep me sane amoungst the insanity, and make me laugh when I am near tears.
Phallatio, the ocean between us doesn't stop you from feeling nearby, webcams rule!!
Youngone with God's will we have plenty of time to get to know each other.
My darling B. every one of your sentiments I return to you doubled. I once dubbed you my prince and you continue to come through for me every single time.
Thank you all for the tremendous love and I hope you all know that you mean the world to me. Each one of you has brought joy to me and I couldn't love you any more for it.
