I've only just found this forum and I like what I've read so far, so I thought, go for it! And here I am, being impetuous again! I'm not sure how much I can contribute to the discussions but I wanted to make sure I had the means to do so if something strikes me as interesting. I have a partner but we only play, at my instigation, but I think he's become something of a fan. We're still very new to the scene and don't know how far we will/can go yet. The suspense is killing..erm, no .. I mean, thrilling me!} |

Welcome gypsy. Don't concern yourself with contributing, you will be amazed on how many opinions you will have on subjects.
Truthfully...............I'm not sure any of us here know how far we will/can go yet.

Re the opinions, yes, I think you're right. Reading some of the posts I've already gone through a fair few 'Ooooh, yes', 'Totally agree' and 'That sounds like fun' thoughts. Now it just needs the courage to share those opinions with others, but, this is the first step. I know that I WANT to go further, I'm just not sure if I CAN, or if, once I get there, I will like it. I certainly like the idea and I like having a red bottom, all I need to do now is run through a colour chart and find out which shade suits me best. |

Hi Gypsy! I can tell by your writing you have a nice personality. I have been with this group a little over a month now and have many posts. Can you believe I am shy <g>. Gary loves our new lifestyle. For example, when he says something that I don`t necessarily agree with I used to stick my tongue out at him in a rolled up position as saying < "suck my tongue" . Well since our DD relationship suffice it to say tonight at the dinner table I REALLY wanted to stick my tongue out at him BUT, this weekends "strap" kept my tongue right in my mouth where it belongs... lol

Hi Ladygator, I'm happy to hear that your new lifestyle suits both you and your partner so well. Personally, I don't think that I will ever get into having a 'real' discipline relationship, I'm sure I'm too bolshy to have someone tell me what to do, but I'm certainly not negating the validity of it. In one way it makes you braver than me and I take my hat off to you. My thing is purely play although I will purposely be 'bad' to get things rolling if that's what it takes. I'm not always in the mood for 'voluntary - dive over his knee' spankings, sometimes I want to be 'made' to do it, while at the same time knowing that it is my choice. As they say, 'one man's meat is another man's poisen' or if we want to be topical, 'different strokes for different folks'. |

Hi Gypsygirl and welcome to the den. Don't worry about how much you can contribute, we are a great group! (if I say so myself  And in terms of your new lifestyle.....my husband and I have been married a long time, and are not a full-fledged DD couple, but we have incorporated spanking into our relationship - these can be erotic, play, or....if I have done something that is out of line - a discipline spanking. The best thing that helped us was lots of discussion Best of luck and again...glad to have you here!

Thanks for the welcome. From what I've seen, you seem a nice bunch and I must admit it will be good to have people to chat with about this subject. My husband and I have been together for 14 years and it's only recently we have introduced spanking into it although it has been a fantasy of mine since before I met him. I suppose I shouldn't really say that I will never be part of a D/D relationship because at one point I thought I would never be able to play either and now I am doing it. Just goes to show that you never know what is round the corner. |
