Hi, it’s taken a while to get here but I have finally accepted the desires and interests I have when it comes to the subject of spanking. I have a number of questions and I was hoping some of you could answer.
First and foremost, a little background on me. I’m a 27 year old male, I would classify myself as a TOP with a slight, and I emphasize slight, desire to experiment as a bottom with a very particular woman. F/F OTK spanking is by far the biggest turn on for me. I have never given a spanking myself but have a tremendous desire to. From what I understand there are many out there whose interest in spanking is not at all sexual but more about discipline. For me spanking is a major sexual turn on which leads to better (traditional sex) if there is such a thing.
My first question, I have spent hundreds of hours on the internet trying to read and research exactly how someone develops an interest in spanking. I was never spanked as a child and if I was I don't remember it. I have tried to think back to the earliest time I even remember thinking about spanking and my curiosity towards the subject. I've managed to pin it down to as early as 2nd grade when I remember looking up "spanking" in the dictionary. I think we have all done that from what I've read.
In the end it doesn't really matter, but I would like to know, if anyone can attempt to tell me how my interest came about. It's much easier to explain a person’s interest in spanking, who was routinely spanked as a child, but in my situation I’m left with tougher questions.
My next question, I am ready to meet a submissive woman between the ages of 18 and 40 in the NY area to play around with. How does one go about doing this? I have looked on sites such as Craigs List under personals but there is so much crap on there that a woman who is interested in being spanked wouldn't know how to separate whose for real and who isn't.
I thank any of you ahead of time who can help me with these questions. As I said earlier, this has taken a while but I am comfortable enough to now talk about my fantasies and desires. And as always it’s nice to know I’m not the only one.

Hello OU! Welcome and you are now an offical SPANKO! Admitting your interest and desire is the first step. WHY are we so into it? I can't answer that. I just know that I am and am not ashamed to admit it. It's not discipline for me. It's a fun/play thing for me and my partner. And for us, when it happens, it does lead to better sex.
Meeting someone with the same interests is fairly easy once you get into it. Using the personals is one way and there are spanking sites where you can place a personal ad, there are several active spanking chats you can go into. Don't expect to arrange meetings with someone the first time. Give yourself time to get to know them online, then arrange a meeting in a public place to make sure the chemistry is there. It's more of a chance thing for a female meeting someone. Caution is greatly advised so if she seems to be a bit cautious, don't take it too personally cos she is just keeping herself safe until she can decide that you aren't out to do harm to her...just spank her.
