Yeah, I know what your thinking. Poor Steve, wolfie has dumped him for another man! Well, you would be WRONG....never happen in a million years!

I do however have a new male living with me. He's much younger than I, has gorgeous green eyes and spends a lot of time in my lap. Here's some pics I've taken of him, tell me what you think.

His name is Finn, he's my new 5 month old kitten and a real mama's boy. Sometimes I call him my Toppy kitten...and other days he's a bratty cat!
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you.

I'm sorry that you and Stevie are no longer together but I do thank you for the lovely photos. I love cats and Flynn is precious. I have Sophia Renault (like the French car the Renault, but we pronounce the -ault because both of us agree it sounds more regal, LOl. I am getting a male kitten soon and am debating naming him Agamemnon so I could call him Aggy or Orpheus, and call him Orphy - can you tell I'm a Classics major, LOL?

Again you have my sympathies and I hope you do get better soon - have some chocolate ice cream and watch a good movie - I recommend 'Team America,' you'll die laughing.
I'm sorry, but not as sorry as I'm gonna be.

Katie, I think you need to take care to read what the posts are saying. Wolfie now had TWO loves in her life.

Cute kitty, Wolfie. I went 19 years without a cat (cause I was allergic then), and have two now (one in the house, and one that only stops by to eat - both strays), and I just love um.

Wolfie, you should have that chocolate ice cream anyway!

Wolfie, Finn reminds me of a cat I had years ago named Linus. He was a wonderful cat and I cried for a month when he passed away at age 13. You are going to have many many days of pleasure from him I'm sure. This is a pic of the madam of our house...Hishi. We got her from the cat rescue. She was in a house with 24 other cats, 8 dogs and I think they said 35 birds. The old lady she was with had to go in a home so they had a time finding homes for all of the animals. They called her Charlie when we got her and I quickly changed that! She responds to her new name like it's always been hers and she gets along with our dog great. They are even affectionate with each other...whudda thought??

Take my heart and soul. But please don't step on it, it breaks easily.

hehehehehe Katie, re-read my post, nothing and no one comes before Steve in my life. I will have that ice cream though (just dont tell).

K, Im allergic too and have also become asthmatic since the last time I had a cat in the house. My respiratory doctor gave me many disgusted looks, but he did have to admit I wasnt any worse for having Finn.

Shylah, Finn is also a rescue kitty and Im sure he now knows that he has fallen into spoiled cat heaven. He's such wonderful company and it's so great to come home to someone who is glad to see you. He spends a lot of time in my lap, loves to cuddle and cracks me up with his antics.

Okay, Wolfie, what gives? I've tried to post a photo of my own baby, and it won't take a photo worth viewing...or at least the size is so tiny, it's not really worth it. How'd you do that?

Of is it a case of "It's GOOD to be the Moderator?"

Ummmmm, ooops...K your not going to ask me to explain something I know nothing about are you?

I use the finepix program that came with my camera (a gift from Steve), and it automatically re-sizes the pics for me. Thats the size they come out when I download them. I'm sorry I cant be more help than that....Bethie knows a lot more about fixing pictures than I do.

Oh, Wolfie, what a cute kitty! I just have to warn you, though, that if he is that big at 5 months he is going to be one BIG KITTY some day.

I couldn't make it without my two kitties. They love me and make me warm and snuggly, and their antics keep me laughing daily.

BTW, I was trying to lip-read your emoticon and it seems to be saying "bad boy", could that be right?

Wolfie, that's a great kitty, I love his eyes!

As for pics, I use IrfanView. It's freeware you can get at their website, irfanview.com. It's pretty handy for doing a lot of stuff and I really like it.

K, yes, at the moment (because of prior image abuse) the member's image uploads are restricted to a certain size. I'll probably increase the limit sizes and I'll post a message in the Site Info area when I do.

Okay...I only find "guys" that want to be "rescued" all the time.

Thanks for the info, Bethie. I figured it was probably something like that. I know all too well about people taking things to far, and abusing a "privilege."

I can see that not only are all of us spankos...we are animal lovers as well.

You do realize that it has been proven that people that have pets live longer?

My oldest daughter was like Ellie May from the Clampetts, she brought home every animal from newts to racoons. We even bottle fed a fawn for a time till it was old enough for the game warden to take it to a safe place.

I can't imagine my house without a pet. They give so much love and only ask to be loved in return...and fed.

Shylah, I too see most lifestyle folks having an affinity for animals. In my neighborhood, the kids call me Dr. Doolittle. At one time I had five dogs. Now that I'm down to two, by the sadness of time and old age, I've tried not to get any more. I honestly don't know how I managed with five. Two dogs, and 1.5 cats is enough, so now I have room for one good man!

K

PS That "old age" was for the dogs...not me!

Ohhh...what an adorable kitty! (Sorry, I'm a little late on the pick-up here. The subject has already moved to the other things.)

I wish I could have a kitten. Stupid dorm rules.

Sorry lotte - I had to deal with that until I moved into an apt (phew) and got my little angel and we are thinking about getting another one, this time a little boy. I'm thinking 'Orpheus' for the name and Orphie as his nickname. We already have Sophia Renault... I love the little angels.
I'm sorry, but not as sorry as I'm gonna be.
