Just a quick note to explain my absence lately, Kchics mom was hospitalized on Sunday with double pneumonia. Her white blood cell counts were also down. I have been staying up there with K for support as she refuses to leave while her mom is in the hospital. I dont blame her, I wouldnt either. I may be scarce for the next week or so, but will post when I'm able. See you all soon.

Wish I had better news to report..K's mom was taken up to the ICU Wednesday evening because her blood pressure dangerously low, overnight she appears to have suffered a stroke. She is scheduled for a CT scan later to confirm this, but she is unable to speak and her left side appears to be paralyzed. Had to come back for a few hours to take care of work matters and will head back up in a bit. K & I thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and I will try to keep you all updated as possible.

To give you hope, my daughters mother-in-law just went through a stroke and is doing very well and out of therapy and home again. So it is possible, it just takes time, patience, and the will if the stroke is not to bad to begin with.
I hope everything turns out for the best Zippo.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Just a quick update to let you know that K's mom passed away at 5:30 pm Sunday. She suffered a series of strokes on Saturday night that left her in seizures. They were able to control that with medication, but the damage was just too extensive. She passed very peacefully and will be missed greatly.

Thank you all very much for your prayers and support during my moms illness and passing. Although I miss her more than I realized I could, I am glad she wont have to suffer anymore, her last few days were pretty tough on us. She went very peacefully, we almost didnt know except for the moniters on her heart, so if I had to ask God to take her, it couldnt have happened more gently. Her wake is tomorrow with the funeral being on Thursday. My dad is not strong enough to travel back for the funeral so zippo bought me a plane ticket to go out and see him next monday, thank you hun for that. Again thank you all for your support, it means more to me than you think. Take care and God Bless all.

Having just lost my own mom K, I know how hard this is on you. Take time to grieve and then remember all the good memories you have had together. If you need to chat, someone is always here.
wolfie loves Steve more than anything else in the whole world...even more than chocolate and lobster!
