okay.. I have to say.. I am trying to get up to 15 lbs.. I have been told numerous times that I am too skinny and that it's unhealthy (I don't eat that much.. maybe once a day if that). So, for my height 115 seems reasonable.. I'm 5'3.. I currently weigh 110.

I used to get told that all the time Kendra because I was 5"5 and weighed 106lbs. I was a model though and had to be a stick. I am now 5"5 and weigh 115. I'm proud of my fat! I know that sounds wierd, but I was anorexic for a long time and was in the hospital for it too. Being too skinny is bad for you and can get you seriously hurt. I think you should go see a doctor though. Everyone's body is different. For example I have always had huge boobs and a small waist and butt. My breasts add so much weight that I was worrying over pounds that I couldn't loose. I don't know about you so I can't really say much more, but I wish you luck in reaching your disired weight.

Hb.......proud of your fat? You can't possibly have an ounce of you. In fact I think my breasts weigh more than you! I have been seriously considering breast reduction. I know the agreement, no woman is happy with her body (too much too little) but I am full busted no matter what my weight is. I am a 36D and would feel more comfortable with a smaller C.

To all ya out there not eating.

It's so important to eat properly, eating once a day won't cut it. Not only will you not gain weight, but you can't get the proper nutritients either.

Look at it this way if the above doesn't help you to eat...

How can you be spanked if your immune system is shot to hell because you don't take care of yourself?

EAT, even if it's small meals or protein shakes.

There is no easy way around this is there? You need to wait awhile, as you are still so young. After several pregnancies and nursing babies, my breasts have been around the block a few times!!

Fanny, my breasts are smaller now then they were before my daughter was born. I was a 36DD before (no shitting, Tyrnal will attest to this), now I'm probably a 34D. I lost ALOT of weight after my daughter was born, my pre-pregnancy clothes were too big the day we came home from the hospital. That's how tiny I am.. I was 130lbs the day she was born, and 105 (roughly) two days later.

WOW!!! You must have been carrying a lot of water then.
With my first pregnancy the weight came off quickly too. By the time the third one came, things were entirely a different story.

Kendra,

I totally understand I am 5'11'' adm only weigh 140. I have a 36 D bust but wear a size 7-8. I try for many years to gain at least 10 pounds but couldn't no matter what I ate I do eat3 times a day with 2 snack because I have such a crazy schedule that if I don't I wouldn't be able to get thru it. I have Lupus which does but a big strain on my immunity which does put a strain on my immune system.

You are very lucky that you were able to carry a baby to term. Oneof the reason W and I were not able to have children was my weight. There ismany medcial articles written about pre preg weight problems just as to much is bad so is to little. If not for your sake but for thesake of any futre baby please try to eat at least twice a day with small snacksin between

Redhinney do you think the Lupus has to do with your weight? Lupus runs in my family, and so far I haven't shown any of the signs, my sister, my mom, grandma, aunts and great-grandma all have lupus and started showing the signs as soon as their first child was born. I am thankful that I am not at this point, but only time will tell. I am just wondering if that could be why I can't seem to gain any weight.

I am bouncing between 105 and 112 and can't seem to make it up to 115. I have started eating more calories (per drs instructions) and eating more often, but nothing is working.

Kendra,

From my understanding of Lupus is that it is an autoimmune disorder. I know that my lupus was discovered when I wasn't able to have children so they did a big work up. After finding that out it expalined a lot. I had horrible joint pain and a genersl tired flu like sysmptoms that I just accounted for by say as a nurse working 12 hour shifts being married anything but that i might be sick. In a way I do think that my lupus does have a baring on my weight. There are some days I am so tired the though of picking up a spoon/fork is just to much work. I also know that many Lupus patietn including me also have underlying thryoid problems. Please get your thryoid check to make sure you are not hyperactive- which is also very comman after child birth.

If lupus runs in your family you shoukd have a blood test at least every 2 years to check.

I also know many lupus patients who are thin or very heavy with nothing in between or what would be considered normal weight. Does being at an "abnormal' weight maek you more prone to a disease Maybe.

Oh by the way I am so tired of people saying to me "you are so lucky you can eat anything and not gain wieght" or God are you thin. So I really do understand were you are coming from. Please just hacve a blood test or both thryoid and lupus just to be on the safe side.

Kryssi, Make sure you have a total thyroid profile ran. I had a simple thyroid test and it showed up as nothing wrong. Finally with an entire thyroid profile, my problem showed up. I have a different auto immune disorder called Grave's Disease. Mine could not be controlled with medication because it had gone undiagnosed for too long and I had to have my thyroid removed and I take thyroid replacement now.

I had numerous blood tests done when I was pregnant, but all they could tell me is that my White Blood Cell count was incredibly low. They coulnd't tell me why, but my count was low. I told them it had been for a few years, and he shrugged it off like it was nothing. So I didn't think anything of it.

Kendra,

Please get yourself to a homotologist. If your white count is low you need to make sure that you don't have any underlining pathology.

Kendra,

I don't mean to scare you but after doing soem quick research you must definetly need to get yourself to a hemotologist. As a person who has a strong lupus in your family as you do you may have a mild case of that oryou might have soem other immune problem. WBC are very important to help you fight diseases. depending on which white blood cell is low directs the physician to more definet studies.

Please call your local teaching hospital and get a name of a hemo. doctor.

I am going to a doctor tomorrow, because I have caught a horrible cold of some sort, based on my asthma history I am guessing it's bronchitis, (Which I had 6 times last year) I will inquire about the white blood count, as they are probably going to do a blood test anyway. I have done all the research about white blood counts, and it could be any number of things.. the worst being leukemia. Which yes, it does scare me. The only problem is that with a new baby in the house and my husband and I working full time to makes ends meet, we can't afford for me to have all these tests done. And for sure can't afford any treatment, especially if it means I will be missing work. As far as a hemotologist goes, my mom and grandma have one here in town that I could see.. again the only problem is money.

Anyway, I will let you all know tomorrow what is going on with this nasty bug that I caught.

Have a great night guys :-)

Kryssi,

Work something out with the doctors office you need to find out what is going on. Your family history alone makes it important. But now woth a baby you are needed for s/he as well. Apply for assitance form the sate but don't think that you can't afford to have the test doen because you can't afford not to have the test.

The state won't help me, I've tried. My daughter has medical coverage through the state but they won't covor me. I will get a general doctor here soon, as soon as his office has an opening. (Not for a new patient, but for an appointment) Yesterday I went to a health clinic for my cold, turns out it was just that, only it'd spread to my lungs, triggering my asthma.
