I am one happy weasel these days because I've been reunited with someone from my past who never stopped meaning a LOT to me. He IS into this lifestyle and although we can only have a long distance (500 miles) relationship at this time, we are both totally excited to pick up where we left off 3 years ago. I told him about the den, so I anticipate his posting a greeting in 'meet & greet' before too long!
I'm soooo happy! We have lots of things in common besides the obvious spanker/spankee desires! He is a true gentle-man, intelligent, and aware, imaginative and romantic, and totally into developing a lifestyle that suits both our personal needs & desires.

ups and downs... he wrote to me today and told me he doesn't think the long distance thing can work out and he's not interested in relocating due to his business doing well where it is and as it is. I'm not interested in relocating either. Too many barricades to togetherness for both of us. He's right, it's pretty impossible and I can only agree with him on that.
Sigh... back to the drawing board.

giggle... up... down... up.... We're still negotiating... the attraction we both feel is hard to just put down and walk away from even with the distance thing. He's coming this way next week, so we're going to see how things go after a face to face meeting. We're in agreement that we at least owe each other that before we decide if it's worth it or not.
It's been 3 years since we've seen each other and we had much in common then, so we've got some catching up to do to see if we still do! If it works it works, if it doesn't, at least we tried!

Seriously, that's a days drive, and the overnight stay could be really interesting. just a thougt.

BuenaV, you're so right. I'm not in a rush for forever. His visit will give us a chance to see if there's anything more for us in the future.
At 3.50 per gallon a round trip is going to cost $350.00 or so given the van he's driving probably gets around 20 mpg. I know to some people that's chump change but to us average schmucks that's a lot of money. The time of travel isn't that big an issue, but the cost of travel is.
We'll see how it goes!
