I didn't want y'all thinking I've abandoned the Den so I figured an explanation was in order. If you read my blog, you've already seen what I had to say, but I'll repeat it here for you Denizens.
Dan and I are fine, but one of our loved ones has been ill. We've been running non-stop for some time as caregivers so our energy levels for online activities has been low, that's why I haven't been around lately
On the upside, our relationship has weathered this wonderfully and we're closer and more devoted to each other than ever, so we're doing great in that area anyway.
The situation is looking up so I'm hoping to be back as normal soon. Lucky for me we have such great mods here so I've had no worries about this place.
Now I'd like to wish you all Happy Holidays and thank you for being here. This online community we have is one of the things I'm especially grateful for this year and I appreciate all of you!

Happy Holidays to you as well Bethie! I can totally relate to being a caregiver - it is energy draining, but its good to know you and Dan stand on solid ground.
My personal thanks for continuing this terrific forum - I have made some great friends here.

I know how hard being a caregiver can be, dont forget to take times for yourselves.

Take care of yourself, Dan and the rest of the family. Congrats on weathering the storm together. Glad to hear things are starting to look up for your loved one.
