My best friend knows of my "lifestyle". She knows that my husband is disciplined when he needs it. I have another friend who is spanked on occassion by her husband, and I have "helped out" a time or two. They are my close friends, and they do not judge me or my husband. It's nice to chat with my friends about ALL of my life.
Does anyone here share their personal info with their "vanilla" friends? |

No, absolutely not. And I seriously doubt that any of my friends or family would guess this about either my husband or me. I'm just not comfortable with sharing this part of my life with them. |

I know a lot of us have visited this topic once or twice so you might find some helpful inshight from some old posts on here - if you dig thru them.
As for me none of MY siblings know...but my sister in laws both know ad one even practices DD in their home too. The other does nto practice but she has coem to understand how we do and she is actually very supportive and tries to keep me and my other SIL out of trouble. |

We have one "vanilla" friend who knows but isn't quiet sure about the whole thing. He really doesn't believe it. As for the rest of them no way. None of them would understand. |

As I have gotten older I have found that I have less problems with others knowing that I am in the lifestyle. Many of my friends and family just say be safe and be happy. My Mom had a bit of a hard time accepting it because she saw it as my being weak at first. Now she just says do what you want and i will hope you are safe and happy but please do not flaunt it in my face. |

little me??? I don't tell ANYONE who's vanilla. They just don't understand plain and simple. As for in relationships I only bring it up if I'm asked what my fetishes are....what else I'm going to do lie? Can I help it if I'm turned on by my man telling me I'm a naughty little girl and I need a spanking??? It's all preference really, as to who you tell. As long as your happy with your level of comfort. ;-)

a tender issue indeed, this one is all about your comfort level really. Personally I don't tell any vanillas. It's just a part of my life that's too personal. I have two sisters who know and are cool with it and one couple who are close friends who also are into it. I think maybe some of my other family menbers may know or suspect, but would never mention it. And I agree as I get older I really am less concerned about who knows. |

Its kind of funny when you start talking about sex with friends the topics that come up,,,and how many people might be interested in spanking as a part of foreplay. Its not a far stretch for them to understand DD as well. I'm not ashamed of it.. I just wish more people were understanding. I have a feeling a lot of people are accepting once they fully understand it. |

I once had a vanilla person tell me that anyone that was into spanking was a real freak. And she said it with such disgust on her face. So somethings I rather keep to myself. However what is funny about this is that people who are into heavy S/M regards us spankers/spankees as lightweights. Some of them also look at us with disgust. So go figure. |

Only a few people know, and that is my Mother-in-law (almost) and Sis-in-law and brother-in-law. And they all support my fiance in it.

There are 3 people that know: my hubby, my ex-hubby, and my boss (don't ask) Oh-once a girlfriend and I went to the sex store and I bought a crop-she thought i was going to use it on my hubby! she was pretty wild, and honestly could have joined the fun if she had stayed in my life....My other friends would be shocked. LOL....my conservative girlfriend was over with her husband, and he noticed "Secretary" on my DVD shelf and started asking my opinion of the movie...that's about as close as I want to get.... |
