When I was last at the Vermont Country Store, we found some tournament paddles there in the toy section. They are not advertised in the paper catalog they send me, but they may be in the online store. If not, try e-mailing them and asking if they still carry them. Dont forget to use the correct name like whats on the paddle in the picture.

I hope this helps.

Wow.. I just googled Cracker Barrel + paddle ball and all I got was a bunch of stories and stuff about how people "modified" their PADDLE ball game :-)

Hi Obx_peach! I'm sorry that site seems to be gone. I had contacted them a couple of months ago about an order I wanted to make and I just thought they'd forgotten me. Since they didn't have what I wanted at that time anyway, I went ahead and ordered from someone else.

Link no longer valid has the classic paddle and they shipped fast. That's where I got the paddles for the mods here. I like their hubbies to keep them on their toes, you know. You can ask them for reviews on them soon I'm sure.

The paddle in your pic is the tournament style and the one Dan prefers because of the handle size. It's harder to find though. I put in an order for some tournament style paddleballs recently and never received them from the company. I'm still on the lookout though and if I find any, I'll let y'all know.

Is there really any difference between the one that says BC and the one that says classic?? Besides the fact that one is tournament?

The classic has a wider handle because it has a hole in it. The paddle part is a tad bit rounder as well. The BC tournament style's handle isn't as wide and tapers down rather than just flaring out toward the business end.

Dan's got big hands and he says the tournament style handle fits in his hand just right. But he admits the hole in the handle of the classic makes it easier to hang up.

Here's a pic of them side by side if that's any help.

Thanks for the help, I may go ahead and get the classic , I think they are made of the same material and thickness. I have a emotional need for the tournament style plus my hubby does have large hands . I got a nice spamking last night with his hand and a beach paddle we got from the dollartree. I'm still a little tender this morning. I still think he only is doing this to please me but he does seem to enjoy the end result. :-)

Peach, they do appear to have the same thickness and wood. We compared them and found the only differences the ones I mentioned.

I think Dan just got used to the old paddle and I think he'll get used to this one, too. It just feels different to him, that's all. Besides, when he got the first paddle, he gave himself a blister spanking me with it and I had to sand down the edges for him. Can't have him getting a blister from spanking me, you know!

I know i haven't posted much but I just had to becuase of the subject here. Normally the only place I'd think to find a CB paddle is well... Cracker Barrel. BUT!!

I work at a CB here but we don't sell the paddleballs :-( but at the CB 15 minutes away they do sell them. Another thing is, CB ship all over the state and they have a website were you can buy stuff. I'd post the link but...

Blu, if you have a link for that paddleball game, by all means post it! Just don't make a direct link, use this format: www.example.com/ okay? I don't think the Cracker Barrel folks would appreciate a direct link from us.

Also, please make sure you post the link that leads to the exact product. They've never had the paddleball game in the online store before so that would be helpful in finding it. Thanks!
