How often do you spank/get spanked? How long can you go before you start getting restless? I am just sort of curious as to how other people are. Also, what kind of spankings are they? Do you get maintenance every week or do you average one punishment a month or two GG spankings a week (just some examples, ya know)? I am just curious how other peoples activities look, so to speak. Thanks, all.
Again, if this has been addressed in another thread, please feel free to point me in that direction. I certainly don't want to bore people with answering the same questions over and over.

Well, as you know I am new to this relationship. At least the DD one. Since I have quite a few things I would like to change about myself. I find myself getting spanked daily. YIKES. My poor bottom but I am not complaining  I deserved every one of them. I am sure in time, the spankings will slow down. It is just that I am a s-l-o-w learner <g>. I am anxious to read what other ppl post. Great question otter ^5`s.

Coming at it from a totally different angle, I get it when I want it. I don't do DD, for me it's purely erotic so if I feel sexy, I want it, if I get it, I feel sexy, and so on and so on. A bit like the fish that swallowed its tail, it's a continuous circle.
My partner and I are still fairly new to this, so he does tend to hold back a bit on occasion  which means that I am always ready for more. Maybe if he really went to town on me it would curb my desire a bit, I don't know, and I don't know which would be better, moderate daily spankings or something heavier but less often in order to let me recover. |

It varies with my wife and, particularly due to how busy either or both of us are (we're both constantly over-committed). Some weeks, we play most every night, then we'll go a couple weeks without playing at all, and sometimes its more regular (every couple of days). Before the baby (and some of our other outside activities), we probably played consistantly every couple of days.

We don't do DD, so it's all erotic.
So for us 1-3 times a week. Twice most weeks. It's VERY rare for me to get spanked without it being followed by sex (once, I think  ), and is now very rare for us to have sex without me getting spanked first.
I'm not counting a swat here and there or even getting pulled across him for a quick few smacks. I'm clothed for those, and they aren't hard enough to make an impression...so they don't count. |

Maybe they don't count officially but they still have an effect. I get smacked in play a lot around the house and if we're having a giggle I get made to bend over and get a quick half dozen over my clothes with his hand. They don't have the sting that comes with a bare bottom spanking, but, either my husband has a very heavy hand, or he instinctively knows that if he can't produce a shade of red to his liking, he might as well go for deep impact. I think I get playful swats almost every day

Now, "R" does administer discipline spankings as well, but now that I think about it, its not that often. Guess I am just a  LOL!
I think it all depends on the situation - We are not rigid true followers of DD, but I will be spanked for disrespect, disobedience, or dishonesty.

Well, as most of you know...I have to wait. With Steve being 3000 miles away we dont get together very often. Its much better than it once was, at one time we went almost a year between visits. Now I get to see him every 3 months or so.
Yes Otter, it doesnt take me more than a few days after he and I seperate before I "need" a spanking again. The cravings hit and I want him so bad Im climbing the walls, knowing there wont be any relief for quite some time. I cope with it because there's no other choice.

Great question Otter!
I'm not in a DD relationship either, so I don't differentiate b/w GG and discipline spankings. M and I always have sex after a session, and we try to do it once a week, although lately it's been more like every 2-3 weeks.  I need it once a week and so I watch spanking videos and masturbate if I don't get spanked.
I generally get spanked on Saturdays for various infractions -- about 45 minutes of heavy spanking with leather straps/whips, wooden paddles, and rattan canes. I generally receive my punishment naked and bent over the bed. Occaisionally, I am turned otk or made to get down on all fours. I'm never restrained, but instead forced to take it of my own free will.
Other than that, I generally get a few smacks during the week, almost always on a bare bottom. The implement depends on where we are. A wooden spoon in the kitchen, a bath brush in the bathroom. She doesn't like to use her hand b/c it hurts her. Those short spankings really hurt b/c the whacks are delivered full force without any warm-up.

I usually get spanked four or five times a week, on average. These days there's always a 'reason' for it, which invariably intensifies the excitement for me. If my husband hasn't got anything particular to spank me for (a very rare occurence) he usually spanks me anyway, "just to remind you who's in charge" or "to stop you getting uppity".
If my husband is at home I can't go more than a couple of days without getting spanked before I get restless and edgy. Occasionally he has to be away for a week or longer, but if he's not actually here I don't crave the spankings so sharply. I just think about how nice it's going to be when he gets home again. |

You say you are not in a DD relationship but then you say you get spanked for "infractions", how is that not a DD relationship?

I woukd say I get spanked maybe 2-3 times a week I can't think of the last tiem we ahd sex without me being spanked but Bill enjoys the feel of my hot butt on him. I'm sorry that I was unclear. M does spank me for infractions, but they are playful infractions, not real offenses. I just get play punishments -- "funishments." For example, I am in charge of the grocery shopping, and we have a budget. For a while I was getting 5 cane strokes for every dollar I over spent. And I am a brat, so there is generally some funishment for that as well. But it's all done for my pleasure.
And yes, I am a lesbian!!

Glad you like it! (It's not totally original with me, I have to admit.)
I actually like the term funishment spanking better than GG spanking, b/c GG spanking seems to imply a light spanking, that doesn't hurt that much. I never know what ppl mean by GG spanking.
