Here I go again with my curiosity

Have anyone used spanking as a way to quit smoking? If so, did it work?

Me, me, me! I quit smoking about 6+ years ago when I got pregnant with our second kid. Then about a year ago (a few months after we started the DD), I got a friend who was a big smoker and I started up again. My husband HATES smoking. Hates is not even the word for how my husband feels about smoking. So when I told him I had started again, he told me that I would get 10 hacks for every time I smoke plus 5 for each cigarette. I tested it twice. The first time I smoked four cigarettes with my brother and sister and the second time I smoked tw at my sister's house. Yeah, 20 and 30 hacks with a wooden spatula, but I was bruised for almost days each time, so I guess he made them count! Did I mention he *really HATES* smoking?

I also get spanked when I succumb to my sugar and carb addictions. If I ever decide to give up caffeine, I will enlist my husband's help with that.

The one thing (and I think I have heard you say this), you definitely have to want it in this case. He can't just say "You are going to give up smoking and if you don't, I'm gonna whup your ass!" (like my husband might about the dirty kitchen floor). But I do think that if you are really trying and you just need that last little bolstering of your willpower when you are trying to decide if you are going to buy that pack or bum one off a friend, I definitely think that DD and making a commitment to your dom can help. That was the other thing that helped me: I promised my husband I wouldn't smoke so that when I did, I wasn't just breaking the rules, I was breaking my word. Good luck and let us know how it's going!

My Hubby hates the smell of smoking, when I first started dating him, he said right out, he would not date me if I smoked. he is a take charge type of guy but he does give me some room to do things i like to, but I know I would be tanned really well if I start smoking, and it would be that way every time he would catch me doing it. good luck with stopping,

Thanks Pillow, I appreciate it. It is by far one of the hardest things I have ever tried to do and at my age that isn't being said lightly.
