So I am not really watching TV until I hear on TV someone saying "You are a spanker...you are a spanker...you are a spanker." That gets my attention. It was on HBO's series "Big Love" and the other night they were showing several episodes.
Later in the same episode the same character admits to her husband that before they were married she had a dated someone who liked to be spanked. She quickly adds, "and I didn't like it...(pause) very much."
So I am wondering if there are other spanking references on the show, or if there are any scenes that include spanking. I wasn't overly impressed with the show, but the spanking reference did get my attention.
Anyone familiar with the show, and is spanking ever brought up? |

I've watched the show... I must have missed the one your talking about.
I've not seen any spanking at all and I haven't heard mention of it either.
Except...there was one episode where a mother was talking about her grown daughter...she said something about the fact that the daughter needed a good "smack" on the butt sometimes to keep her line. |

Hmmmm. I'm a Big Love fan (think I've seen all of the episodes....) and don't recall any spanking reference (and trust me, my radar is always ON!) Now, Weeds, however had a lovely little spanking romance going on. Yummy....... |

Alright. Ever on a quest for spanking fun (thank goodness for google), i did find a blurb about it, giving a synopsis of the episode (the one where Nikki is having to wrangle with the broken washer) that says "Margene might be into spanking." And I did see that episode.....i vaguely remember her being in the Home Plus store and she runs into a former boyfriend.....? I think the reference was made then. I guess my dirty little mind just didn't retain it since no actual spanking action took place. Hmmm. Just to be on the safe side, maybe it's time to rent the seasons out on DVD........ |
