In case anyone else is interested and does not know about this and lives close enough to go.
There is a Fetish Fair Fleamarket this weekend in Atlanta.
Sheraton Buckhead Hotel
3405 Lenox Road NE
Atlanta, GA 30326
Sat. 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This apparently is a huge event with many many vendors, demonstration, hand made paddles and anything you can think of for spanking.
I am hoping that Mr. B and I can at least go and look at all the stuff that will be going on and do some shopping.
The Spice of Life is having my OWN WAY!! A spanking would be nice.

Sorry I did not realize this area existed, Duh!!!
Mr. B just gave an OK. Wish you were here to Wolfie, but maybe next year. This is going to be a huge event and the location is prime. Buckhead is a very exclusive area.
Mr. B said he has to go along because I'll be like Alice in Wonderland. Going in head first and not knowing what to expect until I'm in over my head. LOL. Wolfie he said if you were here he'd just have to keep his eye on both of us. What fun. Next year!!!

Mr. B and I went to our first Fetish Fair yesterday. What an experience!! There was a masquerade ball after that he said he would actually take me too if I wanted to go. WOW, but I was not up for that. I like my spanking and would like to join the local group and we probably will eventually, but I'm not ready or willing to go into the dungeon type scene or all the other things that can go on there, electrical, bondage, ropes, etc.
BUT the fair itself had very very nice items and well made. For the ladies some of the corsets were absolutely gorgeous. The cloaks for the ladies and shoes and boots, OH MY. But our purchase was a wonderful hand tooled deer skin suede flogger. I have never felt anything so yummy. With this one Mr. B had to work a little harder at it because it does not leave that immediate sting, but over some time, I was quite a nice pink after we got home.
As the afternoon progressed the people coming to the fair became more and more eccentric in their dress. When Mr. B saw the young man in the coret and heels, he was .......!!!!!!!!
The two things we did do in a demo situation was double flogging. They used chairs and the instructor individually helped those that needed some one on one. It was quite interesting. Mr. B got the 1, 2, 3 count down but not the 4th count. Which is OK I'll take 1 and 2, I don't need perfection. 1,2; 1,2; 1,2; thats fine with me. A couple brave ladies even offered up their bottoms for demos. Not me!!
Then we stopped at the bondage area and walked in to see what was happening there. The rope work was quite excellent. One lady was walking around in a bra and pants with ropes tied all over for easy movement. Another man with a g-string was tied up in ropes also. The ropes and knots were quite intricate. But why would someone just be tied up in ropes, but still be able to move or do whatever they wanted? I was confused at this one, but certainly not willing to ask.
Another one that was on the list was D/s contracts. Mr. B and I did not go to that one as we don't have a contract, but I bet it would have been interesting. It was about, how to and when to enter into a contract. Who has the say. When the sub can or should have some input. When the contract should be changed. I bet that was quite interesting and I saw the room empty, it was heavily attended. Another one was on meeting new people safely, which was also heavily attended.
If you ever have a chance anyone to go to anything like this do so. The people were very very nice and friendly and there was so much to see, do and hear.
One thing NOT TO DO is pull your Top/Dom away from an area with not nice toys by his belt loops saying you don't need any of those. OOOPS did I do that - yep. OH MY. He told me I was going back to the table and appologize for my behavor, but he took pitty on me after scaring me half to death and did not make me because it would have been so embarassing. BUT I don't think I'll ever do that again.
Mr. B was actually very tolerant with my many NO's in response to what type of toy I wanted him to buy me. He'd say no is not an option but in a nice sort of way until we decided on the soft suede flogger. I actually experienced through watching other people the interaction of Master/slave in just talking to one another. He in the seat and her on the floor before him. Also the greetings between people who knew each other and the formality and courtesy of hugs and Sirs going around.
THERE WAS NOT 1 BRAT or bratting going on in the whole place.
I suppose many of you who are more into all of this, my post may seem sort of silly, but for someone who is just into spanking, like me and never experienced any of this it was quite an eventful afternoon. I'll go to another one in a minute.
Does anyone else have any interesting experiences from a Fetish Fair like this one, or other meetings? It was very interesting and an eye opener.

Hi Everyone,
I want to let you all know that we regularly hold spanking only meetings and parties at 1763-A Deviant Place of Decadence in Atlanta! Our meetings are about every other month and will be going monthly again soon. So come on out and have a spanking great time!

Welcome Mswhip, and thank you for letting everyone know about 1763. I look forward to the time when I can attend a meeting there and get to know some more of the kind folks of Atlanta. Recently Ann, her husband and I went to the Gwinnett munch and had a great time. I know Im going to enjoy moving to the area.
