So I keep getting scolded for leaving the plastic spoons and spatulas right next to or touching the pans while I'm cooking. He says I'm going to melt them. Well I haven't been cooking very long so I don't know about these things and now I know I just keep forgetting. So we have this long, white, plastic cooking spoon that I've been spanked with before and it is very stingy and I love it but it can get intense. Anyways, I was cooking and once again left the spoon by the pan. Imagine my horror as I went to put the spoon in the dishwasher and realized that I had fulfilled his prediction: the end of the spoon was a little bit melted. So I confessed like a good girl, but still got 4 good whacks, 2 on each cheek. Which hurt considering my butt was very sore already from the night before. The moral of the story: don't melt cooking utensils that you could get spanked with!!!

I wish I could melt our big evil rubber spatula! It hangs on the wall of the kitchen and I never cook with it. I have issues about using spanking implements to cook with; it's just my own weird hangup though.

I worry about butt oil getting on my utensils. I know, it's ridiculous but I can't help worrying about it. I can't tell you how many wooden spoons I've had to put out of cooking commission because they were used for spanking me.

That reminds me, I really need to replenish the wooden cooking spoons around here. I seem to keep losing the good ones.

Bethie, I totally know what you mean about not wanting to cook with things you've been spanked with. Both Hubby and I agree with you on that one. Silly but real none the less.
As a result, I've taken to buying 2 of anything I want to have in the kitchen since usually 1 ends up in the bedroom. I will insist on protecting the cooking worthiness if it is either one of my favourites or if I know there's already a twin upstairs.

Aww, now see, I just wash paychecks. I throw cell phones in the toilet. Both often enough that you would think I would learn.

Thankfully -- clean toilets. One of the cells still works!

I haven't washed a cell phone or pay check but I do wash money.
When I throw my clothes onto wash I never check the pockets unless they jingle with coins.
I have found up to $20.00 in the washer or dryer when I am finished with my washing. LOL

laundry I check pockets because I have a habit of carrying tissues. Have you ever seen a mess like you get if you launder even a single Kleenex?

Yes,I have. One of my brother in laws keeps papertowels in his pockets. He usually checks but sometimes forgets. After he has finished using the washer you have to pick up little bitty pieces of papertowels. AARRGGHH!!!!!!!!!

As for the kleenex -- I think we haved all done it at least once. (Some of us more than once!)

My hubby loves to do my laundry. What he finds he puts away in our savings. And its a nice to surprise to find money when you think you are broke.

Yes, Kleenex is a real pain, but have you ever done a load to find a pen in the washer? Oh, and there have been the stray crayon or two over the years as well, but that is usually not found until it has hit the dryer.

We once had a whole load of clothes come out with purple, green, red, blue, and yellow stains. Didn't take us long to learn to check little one's pockets before doing laundry.
And it was after the dryer before we found the spots.

Hubby is now the proud owner of PINK underpants and socks!!!

I didn't notice the red sweatshirt in the washer before I put the load of his socks and underwear in.

Tried to bleach them...they're still pink.

OH WELL!!

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy... what's wrong with windows? They let in sunlight and let out bad smells. Windows are good, and they are your friend too.

And as for your immunity, I hadn't quite realized how powerful denial could be. I am suitably impressed. See, the thing is, in your jpg (which I LOVE) what you don't know is you are not the smiley face. I'm sorry to be the one to tell you.

Now, I'm off to advocate for window-rights! You can join me, if you'd like.

Of course Tammy has joined the dark side. I got her years ago only she tries as she might to deny it. I can recall many many times she joined me in devilment and mayhem in the chats we used to go to. Now her and others try their best to say that they have moved from that now...that they have matured their relationships....

yeah...riiiiiiiighhtttttttttttt

Keep telling yourself that my dears. I'llllllll get you ...and your little dog too!!!

All his stuff is white again. I happened to have some white dye I was gona use for something else and used it on that stuff. He's happy once again.

My dear Tammy...and all others that want to think they are immune to my powers.....

Denial to Acceptance

The 5 Stages - by Shylah

Most individuals faced with being a brat are at first in a state of denial. Some remain in that state for a short time and move on, some remain in that state for a longer period of time before moving on, and some never leave the state of denial. Each person handles their brattiness differently. Most commonly a brat goes through five distinct stages on the way to final acceptance.

You may not experience these stages in one order. You may go through some of the stages more than once. Sometimes an event will trigger you to experience one of these stages again. The five stages are:

1. Denial - The "No, not me" stage.

This stage is filled with disbelief and denial. You think everyone has to be wrong, that there is no way you are a brat, especially not one that can be influenced to the dark side.

2.Anger/Resentment - The "Why me?" stage.

Anger at the situation, perhaps anger at the very thought that ANYONE could possibly think you are a brat! Anger at them and their audacity in labelliing you as a brat. Perhaps anger with yourself for things you have done that you thought were not being bratty, only fun and imaginative. Anger that it is you who has been termed a brat, when it could so easily have been someone else.

3. Bargaining - The "If I do this, you’ll do that" stage.

You try to negotiate to change the situation. If you think it was triggered by a person who is most clearly a brat, for example, you swear that you will be better, and it won't ever happen again, if you justify your actions. You bargain that you will give up bad habits in exchange for visions of maturity until the mistaken label goes away.

4. Depression- The "It's really happened" stage.

You realize the brattiness isn’t going to change. Perhaps you have had another episode where you did something bratty. Perhaps you stopped listening to your Top only to discover that you became bratty again. It finally begins to set in, and you ponder what this brattiness is going to do to your life as you had known and accepted it. This is a stage of preparedness of acceptance, and finally one day it is reached..

5. Acceptance - The "I AM A BRAT" stage.

At this stage you accept that you are, always have been and will be a brat for the rest of your life. Perhaps now you will seek support with all the other brats you love and hold dear to you. You take your spankings, realizing you need them and the bratting to stay well.
Take my heart and soul. But please don't step on it, it breaks easily.

I think, Tammy, that sighing falls under the anger/resentment stage. And I for one would like to congratulate you on making it beyond Denial.

I know it's hard, but you have friends who will support you through this.

Be strong Tammy, be strong. You too can achieve Fanny's 6th stage.
