HER BIRCHWOOD THRONE by Alex B. I never leave her there for long. Her sentence in the corner is invariably commuted before five minutes have passed. I'm just charmed by the sight of my my princess as she sits upon her throne of birch. Though her face is turned away, I can sense the pouting scowl she no doubt ruefully sports as she rides that terribly uncomfortable three-legged stool with her sore, crimson, freshly-spanked buttocks pressed flat against its harsh, unyielding seat. I found this pleasantly antiquated bit of furniture at a thrift store just before Christmas last year. One look and I knew it would serve perfectly as a post-paddling penalty box for my troublesome true love. The look of joyful dread in her eyes when she unwrapped it beneath the tree was priceless. Moments later, she found herself flung across Santa’s loving lap with her pajama bottoms at half mast. A resounding dose of that thick oaken paddle I’d surreptitiously slid into her stocking the night before properly prepared her previously alabaster bottom for a brief but painful reign upon that wicked wooden chair of shame. She's mounted there as I write this, clad in nothing save those adorable white ankle socks. She shifts this way and that, vainly attempting to situate herself comfortably, knowing full well not rise or complain beyond the occasional grunt or gasp denoting her painful predicament. A glance at the clock near the corner of my screen tells me it's almost time to remove my chastised cherub from her unpleasant perch. Soon her hands will grip the edges of that little stool as she presents herself for the pleasures to which her "punishment" was merely a prelude. This follows naturally. Any good piece of furniture should have more than one use. THE END Happy holidays, everyone! -Alex "I'll love you 'til you can't sit down."
